D.A. Weibring is the defending champion thanks to a huge final-round rally last year at Baltimore Country Club. He was four shots behind Nick Price with 14 holes to play but shot 2-under 68 for a 271 total.
Weibring's 9-under total was good for a one-stroke victory over hometown favorite Fred Funk, who closed with a 66.
Funk is the leader of the Charles Schwab Cup points list by a slim 7-point margin over Loren Roberts. Those closest to Funk in the race also have solid resumes from last year's event.
Price and Jeff Sluman tied for third, Jay Haas had a solo sixth and Bernhard Langer and John Cook shared seventh place. Andy Bean tied for 11th and Roberts tied for 21st.
|Power Rankings: Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship|

|He'll have the hometown crowd in his corner, but more important is Funk's string of impressive major finishes. He has finished fifth or better in the four majors of '09, including a win at the U.S. Senior Open. Funk finished 2-1-2 in the final three majors of '08.|
| || ||Loren |
|He's closing in on Funk in the Charles Schwab Cup points list and, with double points available, this is a key week for all of the contenders. Roberts has three top 5s in the majors, including a victory at the Senior British.|
| || ||Bernhard |
|He's back after a stint in Europe and he knows what's at stake. After dominating the Tour over the first few months, he has slipped a bit but remains a formidable contender for all the postseason honors. His best major finish in '09 is a fourth at the Senior British.|
| || ||Jeff |
|He's ninth on the Charles Schwab Cup points list, fifth in GIR and seventh in Total Driving and the All-Around statistic. He has put together another very solid year and a major victory would cap it perfectly. He also finished third at the Senior Players last year.|

|A bunch of contenders for this last spot in the PR but the nod goes to O'Meara on a hunch. He's had nine top-10s and four runner-up finishes (Toshiba, Cap Cana, Triton, Boeing). Last three starts produced a second at Boeing and T3 at Walmart First Tee Open.|
