Biloxi, Miss. (April 16) - Howard Siggelko often thought about visiting the Mississippi Gulf Coast, but never got around to making the trip. Now he has his chance.

Siggelko, a 50-year-old resident of Kennesaw, Ga., a suburb of Atlanta, is the grand prize winner of the "Ultimate Getaway Weekend" contest that was offered in promotion of the Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic being held April 28-May 2 at Fallen Oak. His name was draw at random this week from thousands of national entries.

He won an attractive prize package for four during Tournament week offered by the IP Resort and Spa in Biloxi. The package includes airfare and a four-night stay at the resort, a sought-after Pro-Am foursome, concert tickets, spa treatments, complementary dinner and limo service for the stay.

"I've won some things before, but never anything like this," said Siggelko, an operations manager for a local school district who carries a 15 handicap in golf. "I've always talked about going down there with some of my friends, but I've never been there. I'm going to be popular with some of those friends now, I guess."

Twenty other prizes were awarded, including two-night stays locally at the Hard Rock Hotel and the Island View Resort.

Tournament tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster online for $15 each and they can be used any day of the tournament. Children age 15 and under will be admitted free of charge when accompanied by a ticketed adult. The Classic is one of 26 official events on the Champions Tour for 2010, and the field of 78 players will compete for the $1.6 million purse. Competitive rounds in the 54-hole event are set for Friday through Sunday. The popular pro-am tournaments will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, and they are open to the public with paid admission.

The tournament will be broadcast for 17 1/2 hours by the Golf Channel and the benefiting charity is Habitat for Humanity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Fallen Oak is the exclusive home course for the guests of Beau Rivage Resort and Casino. The Tom Fazio-designed course, which was opened in 2006, has earned 12 national honors and is ranked the second best gaming resort course in the country.

About the Champions Tour
