TICKETS Fore CHARITY™ program helps local charities raise funds through tournament ticket sales

HARRISON, N.Y., April 13, 2011 - The Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship announced today that individual tickets are now on sale to the general public for the 2011 event, which will take place at historic Westchester Country Club in Harrison, N.Y. from August 17-21. 

A single-day grounds ticket will cost just $20 plus tax and fees.  This ticket is valid for grounds admission, good any one day, from August 17-21.  A weekly Clubhouse-access ticket is also available for $125 plus tax and fees and offers admission to the grounds and to the clubhouse every day during the competition rounds, August 18-21.  Food and beverage is available in the clubhouse for additional purchase.  Fans can log on to www.ceseniorplayers.com or call 914-481-5900 to purchase tickets. 

"We are excited to bring championship golf back to Westchester Country Club and the surrounding community," said Executive Tournament Director Steve Schoenfeld.  "We know the area enjoyed having the PGA TOUR here for over 40 years, and many of the current Champions Tour players have played here over the years and are looking forward to returning."

Four past Senior Players Champions, including Jay Haas (2009), D.A. Weibring (2008), Loren Roberts (2007), and Bobby Wadkins (2006) have already committed to compete in this year's Championship.  More player announcements will come as additional commitments are received leading up to the Championship.

In 2011 all individual grounds tickets will be sold through the TICKETS Fore CHARITY program, an innovative fundraising platform designed to improve the quality of life in communities where PGA TOUR & Champions Tour events are held.  The program offers registered 501(c)3 organizations a chance to raise funds by promoting ticket sales to the Champions Tour's final major championship of the year.  Participating charities then receive contributions based on the number of tickets sold in their name. 100 percent of the net proceeds from tickets purchased through the program will go to the charity promoting the sale.  Net proceeds exclude ticket taxes and fees.
