Charles Schwab Cup Championship

(Sonoma, CA) - With four Champions Tour events remaining before the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship, just $189 separates No. 31 and No. 30 on the Champions Tour official money list. 

Bruce Lietzke occupies the 30th spot on the money list while Mark Johnson is currently on the outside looking in at No. 31.  Johnson is in the field this week at the $1.6 million Greater Hickory (N.C.) Classic at Rock Barn while Lietzke and Mark James (29) are not.  In addition to Johnson, this week's field at Rock Barn includes Mark McNulty (32), R.W. Eaks (33), Wayne Levi (34), Massy Kuramoto (35), Bruce Fleisher (36), Bruce Summerhays (37) and Larry Nelson (38). 

All three rounds of the Greater Hickory Classic at Rock Barn can be seen live on The Golf Channel from 2:30-5:00 p.m. ET.  Jay Haas is the defending champion.

The top-30 money winners on the Champions Tour through the AT&T Championship, Oct. 16-22, will earn an invitation to Sonoma.  The 17th Charles Schwab Cup Championship will return to Sonoma Golf Club Oct. 24-29.
