    The PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club this week will welcome several over-50 players who are eligible for the Champions Tour. Here is your one-stop shopping to follow how the veterans of the game perform (names listed in alphabetical order).

    Age: 53

    Round 1: Carded seven bogyes and no birdies for a 7-over 78.

    Round 2: Struggles continued on Friday, carding one birdie, four bogeys and two doubles.

    Qualified: Past winner (1996)

    Career notes: Seven-time winner on the PGA TOUR ... Won the PGA Championship at Valhalla in 1996 by making birdie on the 72nd hole, then made birdie on the first playoff hole to beat Kenny Perry ... Has two top-10 finishes on the Champions Tour in 2014.

    Qualified: Special exemption from PGA of America

    Career notes: Finished fourth at the Masters this year but missed the cut at the U.S. Open and The Open Championship ... Has two PGA TOUR wins and 21 international victories ... Currently ranked 28th in the world.

    Round 2: Missed the cut after a 73 with three birdies, a bogey, and a double.

    Qualified: Past winner (1997)

    Career notes: 20-time PGA TOUR winner ... Won the 1997 PGA Championship at Winged Foot, besting Justin Leonard by five strokes ... Six-time Ryder Cup member and captain in 2012.

    Age: 51

    Round 1: Stellar round of 1-under 70 after making three birdies and two bogeys.

    Round 2: Montgomerie’s 72 was enough to get him into the weekend.

    Round 3: Shot 1-over 72 that included five birdies and six bogeys.

    Round 4: Shot 4-over 75 to finish at T71 for the tournament. 

    Qualified: 2014 Senior PGA Champion

    Career notes: More than 40 wins throughout the globe ... Has won two majors on the Champions Tour in 2014, the Senior PGA Championship presented by KitchenAid and the U.S. Senior Open Championship ... Finished second in the 1995 PGA Championship.

    Round 4: Perry celebrated his 54th birthday at Valhalla with a bogey-free round of 68. 

    Qualified: Special exemption from the PGA of America

    Career notes: Seven-time winner on the Champions Tour ... 14-time winner on the PGA TOUR ... Lost in a playoff to Mark Brooks in the 1996 PGA Championship at Valhalla.

    Round 2: Singh comfortably made the cut after a 68 with three bogeys and six birdies.

    Round 3: Struggled Saturday with a 2-over par 73 to put him out of contention at 1-under par overall. 

    Round 4: Shot a 2-under 69. Eagled the par-5 7th hole which he played at 5-under par for the week. 

    Qualified: Past winner (1998, 2004)

    Career notes: Has notched 34 wins on the PGA TOUR ... Won the PGA Championship in 1998 at Sahalee ... Won the 2004 PGA Championship in a three-hole playoff at Whistling Straits.

    Round 2: Tom Watson couldn’t make the weekend at Valhalla, carding a 73 on Friday.

    Career notes: World Golf Hall of Fame member ... Has won 39 times on the PGA TOUR and has claimed 14 wins on the Champions Tour ... Made the cut at The Open Championship and shot 68 in the final round.
