McGraw to play at 2013 Dick's Sporting Goods Open

ENDICOTT, N.Y. - The DICK’s Sporting Goods Open is proud to announce that three-time Grammy Award Winning artist Tim McGraw will perform after the first round as part of DICK’S Sporting Goods Open Week. The concert will take place on the stage adjacent to the 18th green, Friday Aug. 16 at the En-Joie Golf Course in Endicott, N.Y.

Tim McGraw has sold over 40 million albums and dominated the charts with 33 No. 1 singles. Since the release of his debut album in 1993, McGraw has won three Grammys, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards, 12 Country Music Association Awards, and 10 American Music Awards. Alongside his music, McGraw maintains a career as a successful actor in such films as "The Blind Side", "Country Strong", and "Friday Night Lights."

“After the stellar performances of Maroon 5 and TRAIN, we were able to sign one of the greatest entertainers in music today,” said Marketing and Promotions Manager Dave Pessagno. This will be the biggest concert this area has seen in a very long time,” said Pessagno.

The 2013 DICK’S Sporting Goods Open will be hosted at the En-Joie Golf Course in Endicott, N.Y., Aug. 12-18. Tickets will go on sale at noon on Saturday, April 20, via Ticketmaster, DICK’S Sporting Goods Stores, the Broome County Arena Box office, and online at www.dsgopen.com. The $49 ticket will allow the holder to enjoy both Friday’s first round and an evening with Country Superstar Tim McGraw!
