ABOUT THE UNITED WAY OF THUNDER BAY
The United Way of Thunder Bay is leading the way to a better community by improving the quality of life for all local people. By collaborating with community partners, we are addressing serious social issues in our community and investing in three critical areas: Poverty, Kids and Strong Communities. Donations to the United Way are strategically invested across Thunder Bay to many vital programs and initiatives in these areas, creating a social safety net that works to achieve lasting change for our neighbours, families and friends.

ABOUT ST. JOSEPH’S FOUNDATION OF THUNDER BAY
The primary purpose of St. Joseph’s Foundation of Thunder Bay is to raise funds to further the long-term charitable works of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Sault Ste. Marie within the District of Thunder Bay, including St. Joseph’s Care Group (SJCG). The Foundation raises funds that support capital purchases on behalf of SJCG not funded by Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care or other agencies. The Foundation is a separate organization that works in cooperation with St. Joseph’s Care Group. The money raised by the St. Joseph’s Foundation is strictly for the purchase of equipment and capital purchases, it is not used for the funding of staff positions.
