PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- The PGA TOUR enters its eighth year of extensive tournament coverage and ancillary programming on SiriusXM radio under the renamed SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio (channel 93 on XM and channel 208 on Sirius Premier, formerly known as "The Best of XM").

Beginning with this week's Hyundai Tournament of Champions, the station again will provide live coverage from approximately 40 PGA TOUR tournaments in 2012, including THE PLAYERS Championship, and carry through the PGA TOUR Regular Season, the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup and finally the Fall Series.

Listeners will have access to at least 24 hours of live golf coverage each week, including hole-by-hole action and expert analysis on SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio, the only radio channel dedicated to professional golf.

Launched in June of 2005 as the PGA TOUR Network, SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio features a variety of broadcasters working on the exclusive play-by-play coverage, including former TOUR players Mark Carnevale, Bill Kratzert, John Maginnes, Mark McCumber and Dennis Paulson. Earl Forcey will once again anchor the coverage most weeks, with Fred Albers, Doug Bell, Brian Katrek, Bill Rosinski and Bob Stevens among those returning to provide exclusive play-by-play coverage and player interviews from inside the ropes.

Katrek also hosts "Teed Off" each weekday morning from 9 - 11 a.m. ET, following "Fairways of Life" with Matt Adams weekdays from 7 - 9 a.m. ET. Additional regular programming is also available to provide listeners with news, instruction and talk radio content from the fairways to the airwaves.
