THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Administaff Small Business Classic has been renamed the Insperity Championship, tournament officials announced Tuesday. This change reflects the title sponsor's new corporate identity, which became effective on March 3, 2011. The Insperity Championship presented by UnitedHealthcare, a Champions Tour event, will be held at The Woodlands Country Club Tournament Course on October 3-9, 2011.

Insperity, Inc., a Houston-based company, has been the title sponsor of Houston's only Champions Tour event since the tournament's inception seven years ago. The company recently announced a new corporate identity and renamed the company Insperity, a leading provider of human resources and business performance solutions for America's best businesses. The milestone reflects the company's evolution over the past 25 years from a professional employer organization to its current position as a comprehensive business solutions provider.
"Insperity is proud to support the community through our involvement with the Champions Tour event that has become a positive annual tradition at The Woodlands," said Paul J. Sarvadi, Insperity chairman and chief executive officer. "Our mission of helping businesses succeed so communities can prosper is mirrored by the Champions Tour. Our association with this event has been very beneficial, both for the community and Insperity, and over the years the tournament has also been recognized as one of the best on the Champions Tour."
"Our goal is to build on what we have established in the tournament's first seven years?a first- class event for fans and players that The Woodlands community can take pride in," said Bryan Naugle, Insperity Championship executive director. "Our partnership with Insperity has helped us achieve many of our goals. As the company changes its name to better reflect the expansion of its services, we are delighted to rename the tournament the Insperity Championship and look forward to continuing our valued relationship with them."
Since 2004, the tournament has generated more than $3 million in charitable donations, raised awareness for numerous causes, and has provided an estimated $20 million annual boost to the local economy.
