Weather: Sunny and pleasant with highs in the low 70s. Winds were from the NNE at 10-20 mph.

FINAL LEADERBOARD: 1--Tom Lehman (203/-13); T2 -- Jeff Sluman and Rod Spittle (204/-12); T4 -- Russ Cochran and Olin Browne (206/-10); T6 -- Jim Rutledge, Jay Don Blake and Hale Irwin (207/-9); T9 -- Larry Mize and David Frost (208/-8).

• Tom Lehman sank a six-foot birdie putt on the final hole to win the Allianz Championship. Lehman drained his winning putt moments after Rod Spittle missed a six-foot birdie opportunity which would have given him a one-stroke margin. However, Spittle's birdie attempt slid by the left side of the hole, leaving the door open for Lehman. His putt earned him his third Champions Tour victory.

• The victory was worth $270,000 and 270 points in the season-long Charles Schwab Cup race. With the win and a second-place effort in the season opener at the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai, Lehman leads both the money list with $454,000 as well as the Charles Schwab Cup race with 454 points.

• The win gave Lehman a victory in each of the last three years. He teamed with Bernhard Langer to win the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf in 2009 and then defeated Fred Couples and David Frost in a one-hole playoff at the 2010 Senior PGA Championship.

• Lehman has now won 12 times in PGA TOUR-sanctioned events, including five wins on the PGA TOUR and four more on the Nationwide Tour.

• Lehman has a string of six consecutive Rounds in the 60s and nine in his last 10 starts.

• Here are Tom Lehman's final statistics.
Fairways Hit -- 29 of 42 (69.0%/T32)
Greens in Regulation -- 48 of 54 (88.9%/2)
Putts Per Round -- 30.3/T34
Driving Distance -- 275.7/27

• While co-runner-up Rod Spittle fell short in his bid to give a former Ohio State Buckeye a fourth consecutive title on the Champions Tour, Tom Lehman's win made it four straight for a former Big Ten competitor. Lehman played his golf at Minnesota.

• Hale Irwin finished T6, his best showing in a Champions Tour tournament in over a year since he was fifth at the 2010 Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai last January. It was Irwin's 199th top-10 finish, leaving him just four shy of tying Bob Charles' Champions Tour mark of 203.

• Irwin also led all players in Greens in Regulation. He hit 50 of 54 (92.6%).

• Jim Rutledge parlayed his T6 finish into a berth in next week's The ACE Group Classic field as a non-exempt top-10 finisher. Rutledge had earned a berth in this past week's event through open qualifying.

• Sunday's scoring average was 71.900 and the average for the tournament was 71.685, the highest average in the five-year history of the tournament.

• Once again, No. 9 was the most difficult hole with an average score of 4.412 (+.412). It was also the hardest for the tournament at 4.299. No. 18 was the easiest hole for the tournament with an average score of 4.465 (-.535). There were just two bogeys on Sunday and only 10 for the week.

• Defending champion Bernhard Langer finished T17.

• It turned out to be a pretty lucrative week for Willie Wood. Entering the week as the 21st alternate, Wood got into the tournament when Loren Roberts withdrew just prior to starting on Friday. As the only alternate on site, Wood took Roberts' spot and parlayed that into a T32 finish and a check for $11,137.
