One week remains for players to gain entry into the field by winning or moving inside the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking
AKRON, Ohio -- Sean O'Hair's victory at the RBC Canadian Open earned the 29-year-old an invitation to next week's World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational at historic Firestone Country Club, August 3-7. O'Hair is joined by several players who are now officially qualified via their top-50 standing in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR). Those who are not qualified have one week to either win their current event or move into the top 50 in the world on August 1.
O'Hair's playoff victory in Canada was the fourth PGA TOUR win of his career. O'Hair will be playing for the fifth time at the Bridgestone Invitational where he finished 5th in 2010, the best result of his career in a World Golf Championships event.
