The AT&T National is this week at Aronimink Golf Club. Here's how the PGATOUR.COM experts sized up the top contenders:

BRIAN GAY. His straight-and-steady game is a fine fit for Aronimink; he finished T16 last year. His only top-10s this season were in January and February but he'll jumpstart his summer with another one. |
Chris Dunham |
 | CHRIS COUCH. He hasn't missed a cut this year (12-for-12), which is a good starting point. Another is his Strokes Gained -- Putting ranking (28th), which is key for the classic Donald Ross greens at Aronimink. |
Mike McAllister |
CHARLIE WI. Ranks third in Strokes Gained-Putting this year and was in contention to win the Crowne Plaza Invitational before finishing second to David Toms. Last year he was fourth in this event, so Aronimink must suit his eye. |
Lauren Deason |
JOE OGILVIE. He was T16 last year at Aronimink so maybe those vibes will help for this year, which has largely been forgettable outside a tie for third at the HP Byron Nelson. He has missed his last two cuts. |

RICKY BARNES. Aronomink is no pushover so it should be right down Barnes' alley. He tied for 16th at the AT&T National a year ago, shooting two weekend rounds in the 60s, which should give him added confidence, too. |
Amanda Balionis |

SEAN O'HAIR. This season hasn't gone full-steam-ahead yet (two top-20s, no top-10s) but Aronimink could be the turning point -- he tied for 11th last year at the AT&T National. The large amount of local knowledge can't hurt this week. |

TIM HERRON. This guy is a viable candidate for Comeback Player of the Year. Can still score on shorter courses -- both his top-10s this year have come on par-70 tracks. Broke par twice on this tough course in 2010. Great fantasy pick this week. |
Brian Wacker |
PAUL GOYDOS. Two things to like: Goydos has played well of late, with three top-10s in his last five starts, and he does well on courses where you need to keep it in the fairway. Wouldn't be a surprise to anyone if he won at age 46. |

KEVIN CHAPPELL. I'm going with the long-hitting rookie. His results have been all over the place, but he did step up big at the U.S. Open -- another tough course -- with a tie for third. Plus, he's ninth in eagles. That's gotta count for something, right? |
John Swantek |
ANDRES ROMERO. Might be the streakiest player in the game but displayed uncanny consistency with four straight rounds in the 60s last week. It's always a roller coaster ride with the Argentine, but should hit more peaks than valleys here. |
