Matchups Game preview: AT&T National

With the Travelers Championship under our belt, the PGA TOUR Matchups Game on Facebook® is underway. The Matchups for AT&T National have been announced and once again the staff at PGATOUR.COM has made their selections.

To review, each week fans are able to select the players they think will play the best from five head-to-head matchups. Correct picks are awarded two points, ties receive one point, and any fans with a perfect week can earn two bonus points.

At the end of each tournament, fans with a perfect record will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card for Shop.PGATOUR.COM. The fan with the most accumulated points after the TOUR championship will be awarded at $1,500 shopping spree at Shop.PGATOUR.COM. Click here to sign up to play.

GARY WOODLAND vs. NICK WATNEY Woodland and Watney are both inside the top 10 in the FedExCup standings -- which one will win this Matchup and earn more points? K.J. JUSTIN ROSE vs. VIJAY SINGH Both have three top-10s on the season and are in the top 40 in FedExCup points, but only one (Rose) is the defending champion at AT&T National. BILL LUNDE vs. CHARLEY HOFFMAN The intriguing matchup-within-the-Matchup: Lunde is ahead of his good friend and fellow UNLV grad Hoffman by one shot in the $1 million Kodak Challenge, which also continues at Aronimink.

More than 1,200 people played the Matchup Game during Week One with 195 people making perfect picks (a total of 11 points). The Matchups player by the username of "jules" was the week's winnner of a $50 giftcard to Shop.PGATOUR.COM. None of our Notable Players achieved a perfect score this week, but Sean Martin of Golfweek and Steve DiMeglio of USA Today each made four correct picks to achieve seven points. Likewise, none of the experts at PGATOUR.COM had a perfect week, but there were six staff members with four correct picks.
