Q. Tell me a little bit about it out there. It was playing a little softer than it was in the practice round. Highlights?

PETER LONARD: I didn't get a practice round because I was on my way to Columbus on Monday when I got the call that I was in.

Q. You were headed to Chiquita?

PETER LONARD: Yes. So I actually got to climb this I got the call. I was connecting in Atlanta. So I still had to go to Columbus to get my bags, obviously. So I stayed there the night and went to a range and hit some balls. And I thought, well, I'll fly out the next morning. And then my flight missed its connection. Instead of me getting here at 10:30 Tuesday morning, I got here at 8:00, 8:30 Tuesday night.

Q. So this is the first time you've seen the course?

PETER LONARD: Yeah, pretty much. I have played here before, a long time ago. Last time I was here, I think it was actually rained out. That's right. I think the whole thing was cancelled.

I had a bit of a look at the back nine yesterday. Front nine was all new today. I made a few mistakes down the front nine. But all in all, I played pretty good.

Q. You've been playing well of late. You did well in Mexico.

PETER LONARD: Yeah, I'm just starting to get it together. I think I was a bit shocked, like last year I didn't play anything. I played like five Pro Ams. Obviously, I thought I was going to pick it up a bit quicker than I did. I still did a lot of work, whether it was rehab or just, you know, hitting balls on the range, but there's nothing quite like playing tournament golf.

So it definitely took me the first seven or eight tournaments on the Nationwide to sort of have an idea what I'm doing.

Q. Kind of get your edge back?

PETER LONARD: Just a bit of an edge. Just routines and stuff you used to do religiously without thinking about it, all of a sudden, you just stop doing it because you haven't done it for a year or a year and a half really. You know, it's a learning process. It's just a matter of remembering what used to work for you.

Mexico was good. I had a chance to win in that, and I blew it. I hit probably one bad shot at the wrong time. You know, I didn't really hit it sideways. I hit it straight out, and it landed a couple yards away. So I walked away reasonably happy with that. Now I'm delighted for the opportunity to play here.

Q. Obviously, what went well for you today was your putting. Did you have a three putt today?

PETER LONARD: I don't know. To be honest with you.

Q. That's what it is.

PETER LONARD: Actually, I hit a lot of the pins here are on the edges, and I hit it on the edge all day. So it wasn't like I hit it all over. I was just on the fringe and still had a four yard putt from the fringe. I didn't really hole any of them, but I think that's why my putts played well. Legitimately, I probably missed two greens where I actually had to chip. All the rest were putts. All in all, it wasn't too bad.

Q. So basically, you're just getting your edge back and starting to feel you're getting in a little bit of a rhythm?

PETER LONARD: Starting to feel comfortable. With these rounds, you know, I probably feel more comfortable here than I do on the Nationwide because I know all the people here and it's pretty it's the life I've lived for the last ten years at least. Nationwide is all young kids and all that sort of stuff. A lot of people that you don't know.

I probably feel more comfortable here as well. That probably doesn't hurt.
