TPC River Highlands is home to the Travelers Championship, one of Connecticut's biggest sporting events.
Jun. 21, 2011
First built in 1928 -- with the current incarnation redesigned by Bobby Weed in 1998 -- TPC River Highlands is a course ripe for scoring thanks to a lack of length. Big hitters can thrive (Bubba Watson won last year), but short hitters aren't compromised either (Watson defeated Corey Pavin and Scott Verplank in a playoff; David Toms was second in 2009).
