WHAT TO WATCH IN ROUND 1:
Establishment vs. Youth: In the last 18 months, there have been 25 victories (16 in 2010/9 in 2011) by players in their 20s, including four rookie winners in 2011. With Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh and Jim Furyk winning the first four FedExCup titles, will the FedExCup go to an establishment player or will the young stars rise up in 2011?
British Open Champions: With the British Open the week following the John Deere Classic, there are five former Open champions in the field including defending Open champion Louis Oosthuizen, Stewart Cink, John Daly, David Duval and Todd Hamilton.

Jason Day
The 23-year-old finished T2 at the Masters and second at the U.S. Open. He sits 15th in the FedExCup standings. Day also leads the International Team standings for the 2011 Presidents Cup, which will be played in November in his homeland of Australia.
Steve Stricker
