THE PLAYERS launches limited-time, special ticket offer for 2012 event

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla.-- The best golfers from around have arrived at THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass for what promises to be another exciting event in THE PLAYERS Championship history. And while limited tickets for this week's event are still available, now is the time to make plans for THE PLAYERS 2012 through a special offer.

For a limited time, the tournament will be offering Good-Any-One-Day grounds tickets for $30 (plus applicable tax and fees), a significant savings over 2011 gate prices ($65). This special offer for THE PLAYERS 2012 -- May 7-13 -- is valid during tournament week through Sunday, May 22, and will be sold in the merchandise tents (during THE PLAYERS) or in the Clubhouse Golf Shop and at PGATOUR.COM.

Fans can also take advantage of great savings for weekly ticket packages and the popular Stadium Club Packages. Weekly ticket packages are available for $110 plus applicable tax and fees (the 2011 rate is $135). Fans are also reminded to bring their 2011 tickets back to TPC Sawgrass after the event to receive $50 off a round of golf at Dye's Valley Course or $100 off at THE PLAYERS Stadium Course.
