| Here are some of the players you'll see on NBCs coverage of Saturdays third round |
| KYLE STANLEY |
Stanley has made just three bogeys through his first 36 holes this week (T-1st for fewest) thanks in large part to his performance around the greens. Stanley has successfully salvaged par or better on a field leading 10 of 11 missed greens (91% - 1st) averaging 3 feet 1 inch to the pin on all chip shots from around the green (also 1st in the field).
|
| RORY SABBATINI |
Rory Sabbatini matched the course record today with a 6-under-par 64 and currently sits just one shot behind Stanley through two rounds. Sabbatini needed just 21 putts today (1 off the course low of 20 by Carl Petterson in 2008 in the 2nd round). Sabbatini has 21 one-putts through 36 holes (T-1st with Luke Donald).
|
| THE BEAR TRAP |
| Through two rounds, there have been 1,237 bogeys or worse at PGA National. However, holes 15 through 17 account for 318 (or 25 percent of all over par scores) of them. Balls in the water: 110 of the 253 total balls in the water at PGA National this week have happened holes 15 through 18 (43% of all balls in water this week have been on holes 15 through 18). |
