Matt Kuchar
Last year's leading money winner has picked up in 2011 right where he left off in 2010. Kuchar has posted rounds of 66-70 and is at 8-under-par and tied for 17th place. Kuchar played his final five holes today in 1-over par. He finished T6 at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions two weeks ago and then added a T5 finish at last week's Sony Open in Hawaii. Kuchar and Steve Stricker are the only two players to register top-10 finishes the first two weeks of the 2011 season.
David Duval
The 1999 Bob Hope Classic champion fired a 5-under 67 at LaQuinta CC today and stands at 9-under 135 after two rounds. Duval has made the cut in 10 of 15 tries in this event and this is his best start since a 65-68 to open the 2001 tournament.
