Player Notes
Here are some of the players you'll see during Saturday's coverage:
BILLY HORSCHEL
At No. 139 on the money list, a good finish this week would go a long way in helping the former Florida Gator retain his card for the 2012 season. Making his 24th start of the year, Horschel has notched both of his top-10 finishes this season in his last four starts (T10 Reno-Tahoe Open, T7 Frys.com Open). In addition, four of his five top-25 finishes have come in his last six starts.
WEBB SIMPSON
Simpson is at the apex of a standout season. Four of his last five starts have yielded top-10 finishes. Of those, he claimed victories at the Wyndham Championship and Deutsche Bank Championship. Simpson is making his 25th start of the season, with career-best numbers in cuts made (22), top 10s (10) and top-25 finishes (19). A missed cut at the PGA Championship represents the only time Simpson has failed to finish inside the top 25 in his last 12 starts.
