It's been said that Seve Ballesteros changed the face of golf, but that statement doesn't go far enough. His contributions to the game can't be understated, and his fiery presence gave the game a tremendous lift in the late 1970s and early 1980s. His emotional victories inspired an entire continent and sparked many people worldwide to take up the game.

Ballesteros, who died May 7 from complications from a brain tumor, will live on in the memories of those he helped lead to the game that he loved so much.
