MORE: Interactive Kodak Challenge Scorecards

The Kodak Challenge is a first-of-its-kind competition for PGA TOUR players, who must play at least 18 of the 30 Kodak Challenge holes to be eligible to win. A player's lowest score relative to par on his best 18 Kodak Challenge holes will be counted. The player with the lowest cumulative score relative to par wins $1 million and the Kodak Challenge trophy.

THIS WEEK: No. 17 at the Magnolia Course-- 485 yards, Par 4
Lanny Wadkins once said of the hole, "The most dangerous hole on the course: Tee shot over water, then a long mid-iron to a well-protected narrow green. Give me a 4 here and I'll run to 18."

Third round
Cameron Tringale and Fabian Gomez each need to card an eagle on hole No. 17 at Disney's Magnolia Course Sunday to tie Bill Lunde and force a playoff in the $1 million Kodak Challenge competition. Unfortunately for Tringale and Gomez, the notoriously tough par 4 lived up to its billing during the third round of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic. The two contenders, like most of the field, could do no better than par on the 491-yard Kodak hole.

Tringale hit his 194-yard approach to 18 feet, while Gomez pushed his 191-yard shot into a greenside bunker. With leader Bill Lunde idle (he missed the cut), each player will get one last shot to grab a share of the lead during the final round.

Lunde, who has led the Kodak Challenge for 21 consecutive holes, will be present at the Magnolia Course on Sunday to see if he has to compete in a playoff, or simply collect the winner-takes-all $1 million Kodak Challenge prize.

In the event of a tie at the conclusion of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic, a playoff will be held on No. 17 until a winner is determined. Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic officials are prepared to place lights on the 17th to allow a playoff after dark if necessary. Last year, Troy Merritt defeated Rickie Fowler and Aaron Baddeley on the first playoff hole.
Second round
Kodak Challenge contenders Bill Lunde and Cameron Tringale squared off on hole No. 17 at Disneys Magnolia Course Friday in a battle for the $1 million Kodak Challenge prize. Lunde, who is ahead by two strokes, nearly closed out the competition after his 128 yard approach fell just 5 feet short of the cup. Had Lunde holed out his approach for eagle he would have clinched the Kodak win.

Despite his stellar play on the Kodak hole, Lunde missed the cut leaving an opening for Tringale, who easily made the weekend field after posting a 4-under 68 during second round play. Tringale must eagle the Kodak hole either Saturday or Sunday to tie Lunde and force a playoff.

Hole No. 17 at Disneys Magnolia Course during this weeks Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals Classic is the 30th and final hole of the Kodak Challenge season.

First round
Bill Lunde remains in the driver's seat of the Kodak Challenge, leading by two strokes as the $1 million competition visits its 30th and final hole of the season, No. 17 at Disney's Magnolia Course during this week's Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic. Cameron Tringale is the only player at Disney this week that can catch Lunde.

Neither Lunde nor Tringale got a shot at the Kodak hole Thursday, as they played the Palm Course during the opening round. They are both playing the Magnolia Course in the afternoon flight of play on Friday.

Lunde has led the Kodak Challenge for 21 consecutive holes. To catch Lunde, Tringale will need to card an eagle on the tough par-4 to force a playoff.
