MORE: Interactive Kodak Challenge Scorecards
The Kodak Challenge is a first-of-its-kind competition for PGA TOUR players, who must play at least 18 of the 30 Kodak Challenge holes to be eligible to win. A player's lowest score relative to par on his best 18 Kodak Challenge holes will be counted. The player with the lowest cumulative score relative to par wins $1 million and the Kodak Challenge trophy.
THIS WEEK: No. 15 at TPC River Highlands
Unless you're playing for the Travelers Championship title, or you're having the round of your life, take out the driver and have some fun. You will have few opportunities in your life to say you drove a par 4 at a TPC. In windy conditions, the pros often hit an iron off the tee, leaving a full wedge to the green.

| Final round |
Kodak Challenge hole No. 15 at TPC River Highlands, the shortest par-4 on the PGA TOUR, saw its share of great shotmaking during the final round of the Travelers Championship. Steve Flesch and Chris Stroud led the way with identical Kodak eagles on the drivable 296-yard Kodak hole. Flesch dropped his 278-yard tee shot to 13 feet and drained his putt for the deuce, while Stroud hit his approach to just under 13 feet of the cup and holed out for eagle.
The top Kodak Challengers also made the most of their week in Connecticut. Frontrunner Bill Lunde carded a Kodak birdie on Friday to maintain sole possession of first place in the $1 million competition at 12-under-par. Cameron Tringale and Charley Hoffman scored birdies of their own to stay within one shot at 11-under and four other pros kept pace with birdies to leave TPC River Highlands just two shots behind Lunde.
The Kodak hole played under par in all four rounds of the Travelers Championship. On Sunday, No. 15 at TPC River Highlands yielded two eagles, 32 birdies, 31 pars, eight bogeys, and one double bogey.
The next Kodak Challenge hole is the 212-yard par-3 17th hole at Aronimink Golf Club in New Square, Pa., during the AT&T National, June 30 - July 3. The AT&T National will be the 20th of 30 tournaments to participate in the $1 million competition. |
