TAMPA, Fla. -- The Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am and Beam Global Spirits & Wine, Inc. [Fortune Brands, Inc. (NYSE:FO)], a global leader in premium spirits, announced that they will join together for the second straight year to sponsor the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am. "This partnership proved to be a huge success at the 2009 Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am," expressed Amy Hawk, tournament director. "We are excited to continue a great relationship with a premier spirits company like Beam Global, and we're proud that a company of this magnitude finds value in what we are doing at the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am and is willing to make the commitment to leverage that value with their customers."
"We are thrilled to build on last year's success and continue our partnership with the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am on this terrific event," said Bill Newlands, president Beam Global Spirits & Wine U.S. "This year's tournament is a perfect way for us to further highlight Red Stag by Jim Beam, which is one of our most successful product launches in company history, while supporting our valuable business partner Outback Steakhouse in helping to raise money for local Florida charities."
As Founding Sponsor, Beam Global has exclusive naming rights to the 16th hole hospitality pavilion that is one of three making up the Green-Hopper Party Pass. This venue will now be known as the Red Stag by Jim Beam Stag's Trail featuring the Red Stag by Jim Beam brand. The agreement also includes the title sponsorship of the Pro-Am event on Wednesday and Thursday of tournament week, the Red Stag by Jim Beam Challenge.
