SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Tournament officials at the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf have extended greater Savannah charitable organizations the opportunity to participate in TICKETS Fore CHARITY, an innovative fundraising platform designed to improve the quality of life in communities where PGA TOUR events are held. The new program will offer registered 501 (c)(3) organizations a chance to raise funds by promoting tickets sales to the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf, to be held April 19-25 at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort and Spa in Savannah.
TICKETS Fore CHARITY enables participating charities to receive contributions based on the number of tickets sold in their name. 100 percent of net proceeds from tickets purchased through the program will go to charity: 75 percent to the charity promoting the tickets and 25 percent to the Savannah Area Chamber Foundation, created to foster education, training and research to advance the economic, social and civic well-being of the Savannah area.
"This is an incredible opportunity to raise unlimited funds for the participating charity and there are absolutely no costs to the organization," said Executive Director Joe Rotellini. "Fans will be able to see some of the best in the game while generating revenue for charities throughout Savannah in a time when charities need help more than ever."
Thus far, the following Savannah-area charities have signed up to participate in TICKETS Fore CHARITY:
