Charley Hoffman, No. 2 in FedExCup standings

Hoffman picks up his second win in 147 starts on TOUR at the age of 33 years, 8 months, 10 days.

Hoffman recorded 11 birdies on the way to a final round 9-under 62. Hoffman's 62 is a personal-best on TOUR. His previous-best was a 63 from the 2008 Bob Hope Classic and 2009 Valero Texas Open.

Hoffman records his first top-10 finish in 11 PGA TOUR Playoff events and guarantees a spot in the TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola for the first time. Hoffman's best finish in the FedExCup is 37th in 2009.

Hoffman's only other TOUR win came at the 2007 Bob Hope Classic when he defeated John Rollins in a playoff.

Hoffman, who is sponsored by Waste Management and typically wears green gloves and shoes -- in support of "Keep America Beautiful" wins his second TOUR event on the only carbon neutral event on TOUR. The Deutsche Bank Championship incorporates bio-diesel into on-site power generation.

Hoffman's four shot come-from-behind victory is the largest in tournament history, eclipsing Tiger Woods (2006) and Vijay Singh's (2008) three shot come-from-behind wins.

Hoffman tied the tournament record for low 9-hole score with a 29 on the back.

Hoffman sets the tournament record for low finish by a winner with a 62. Tiger Woods (2006) and Vijay Singh (2008) each recorded an 8-under 63 in their final-round wins. Stuart Appleby's 59 in the final round of the Greenbrier Classic is the lowest on TOUR this season.

Hoffman ties Vijay Singh's 72-hole scoring record at the Deutsche Bank Championship with a 22-under 262.

Jason Day, (T2), Ranked No. 4 in the FedExCup standings.

Day has held the 54-hole lead three times on the PGA TOUR:
2010 Deutsche Bank Championship T2
2010 Byron Nelson Championship 1st
2009 Puerto Rico Open T2

Day claimed his first-career victory earlier this season at the HP Byron Nelson Championship. He has added additional top-10 finishes at the Deutsche Bank Championship (T2), The Barclays (T5), AT&T National (T9) and the PGA Championship (T10).

Geoff Ogilvy, (T2), No. 16 in FedExCup standings

Ogilvy records his fourth top-10 finish in 13 Playoff events. Ogilvy finished 13th in the FedExCup in 2007 and 2009. He missed the TOUR Championship in 2008.

Ogilvy records his third top-10 finish in four starts at the Deutsche Bank Championship (T6-2007, 72-2008, 7th-2009, T2-2010).

Luke Donald. (T2), No. 5 in FedExCup standings

Donald's best finish in the FedExCup is No. 30 in 2009. His only trip to the TOUR Championship since the FedExCup was started was last year when he finished T25.

Donald has two TOUR wins (2002 Southern Farm Bureau Classic and the 2006 Honda Classic).

Donald tied his career-low 54-hole total with a 198 after the first three rounds. His other 198 came at the 2007 Sony Open in Hawaii (T2).

Like Brandt Snedeker, Donald's only other top-10 in a Playoff event (nine total events) was at the 2009 BMW Championship (T10).

Brandt Snedeker, (T5), No. 33 in FedExCup standings

Snedeker records his first top-10 finish at the Deutsche Bank Championship in four career starts (T47-2007, T27-2008, T32-2009).

Snedeker has finished in the top-35 each of the first three years of The Playoffs. His lone trip to the TOUR Championship was during his rookie season in 2007.

Like Luke Donald, Snedeker's only top-10 in a Playoff event (12 total events) was at the 2009 BMW Championship (T10).

Steve Stricker, (9th), No. 3 in FedExCup standings

Defending champion Steve Stricker has a TOUR-leading 36 rounds in the 60s in Playoff events:
Steve Stricker 36
Jim Furyk 27
Tiger Woods 27
Sergio Garcia 25
Camilo Villegas 25

Stricker, after missing his first three cuts from 2003-05, has since reeled off T7 (2006), T9 (2007), T13 (2008), 1st (2009) and 9th (2010) finishes at the Deutsche Bank Championship.

Stricker is the only player to have played all 56 rounds in the four-year PGA TOUR Playoffs.

At the 2007 Deutsche Bank Championship, two players were able to advance in the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup (John Mallinger and Bo Van Pelt) In 2008, 10 players performed the feat (Tim Herron, Johnson Wagner, Heath Slocum, Ben Crane, Eric Axley, Aaron Baddeley, Fredrik Jacobson, Charley Hoffman, Tommy Armour III and Angel Cabrera). In 2009, a total of eight players played their way into the BMW Championship (Sergio Garcia, Bubba Watson, Jeff Overton, Stephen Ames, Bryce Molder, Marc Leishman, Woody Austin and Jason Bohn).

Miscellaneous Notes
Two rookies remain in the Playoffs -- Rickie Fowler (T41, FedExCup No. 25) and Rory McIlroy (T37, FEC No. 29). Josh Teater (T45), Blake Adams (T61) and Alex Prugh (MC), who also made it to the Deutsche Bank Championship, failed to advance to the BMW Championship.

Last year, two rookies advanced to the BMW Championship (Marc Leishman and Webb Simpson). Since the beginning of the FedExCup only one rookie has advanced to the TOUR Championship each season: Brandt Snedeker (2007), Andres Romero (2008) and Marc Leishman (2009). Each of those three players went on to earn PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year honors.

Tiger Woods closed out the Deutsche Bank Championship with three consecutive rounds in the 60s for the first time since the opening three rounds of the 2009 TOUR Championship when he locked up his second FedExCup trophy.

The 54-hole leader/co-leader has gone on to win four of eight times at the Deutsche Bank Championships (Adam Scott/2003, Vijay Singh/2004, Olin Browne/2005 and Steve Stricker/2009).

The third-round leader/co-leader has won 15 of 38 stroke-play events this season, most recently by Arjun Atwal at the Wyndham Championship.

The par-4 14th played the toughest this week with a 4.204 average. The par-5 18th hole was the easiest for the week at 4.388.

Garrett Willis withdrew (illness) after the third round.
