Reba, Rascal Flatts added to Greenbrier Concert Series

Country music icon Reba and the award-winning Rascal Flatts will perform on Thursday, July 29 as part of the inaugural Greenbrier Classic. Country music stars Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood also are set to perform on Saturday, July 31.

Only fans who purchase a weekly badge for The Greenbrier Classic will have access to the two tournament concerts. A new outdoor amphitheater is currently under construction at the State Fair of West Virginia and will be the setting for both concerts.

Starting Friday, June 18, The Greenbrier will offer new ways to purchase tickets. Those who purchase a weekly grounds badge for $69 will receive a ticket to the Reba and Rascal Flatts concert. Those who purchase a weekly grounds badge for $79 will receive a ticket to the Paisley-Underwood concert. Concert seating is general admission/festival seating with these two options.

Fans can purchase a $147 weekly grounds badge with preferred seating for both concerts and other benefits, including a $99 accommodation rate for a future Greenbrier stay.

With the $147 grounds badge, purchasers will also receive a round of golf on The Greenbrier Course for $100 or a complimentary round on the Meadows as well as a 15 percent discount on Greenbrier Classic merchandise.

A limited number of tickets are available.

Tickets will go on sale June 18 through Ticketmaster, Live Nation, at all Kroger stores and United Bank branches throughout West Virginia. Purchases may also be made online at www.greenbriarclassic.com or at The Greenbrier Classic Official Tournament shop at the resort. A portion of the proceeds from all ticket sales will benefit local and regional charities.

"We fully expect a sellout," said Jim Justice, owner and chairman of the resort.

The new amphitheater at the State Fairgrounds, an outdoor facility currently under construction, will accommodate more than 50,000 spectators.

The Greenbrier Classic will be played July 29-Aug. 1 at The Old White Course at The Greenbrier in While Sulphur Springs, W.Va.
