ATLANTA -- The FedExCup trophy will be handed out following the final round of THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola Sunday at East Lake. Our on-site staff gives its predicitions on who they think will take home the hardware.

MIKE MCALLISTER, MANAGING EDITOR: A couple of guys who are guaranteed the FedExCup just by winning the tournament -- Paul Casey and Charley Hoffman -- will be charging hard, since each is several shots off the lead. They'll make it exciting, but their deficits will eventually prove to be too great. On a course with tight fairways, it will be one of the three past U.S. Open champs -- Jim Furyk, Retief Goosen and Geoff Ogilvy -- emerging in the pressure-packed environment down the back nine. Furyk will win the tournament, a storybook ending to a Playoffs that began on such a sour note for the veteran. And the FedExCup winner will be ... Furyk, whose FedExCup title and third tournament win of the year will lead to Player of the Year honors.
BRIAN WACKER, SITE PRODUCER: Only 15 54-hole leaders or co-leaders have gone on to actually win the tournament this season. That's the lowest since 16 did it in 2006. In other words, Furyk isn't winning the tournament and therefore isn't winning the FedExCup. Retief Goosen and Luke Donald, meanwhile, have a history of pulling disappearing acts on the weekend and Geoff Ogilvy hasn't won since the first tournament of the season. Who does that leave? The guy I predicted all along, Paul Casey. And by winning the tournament Casey will also win the FedExCup by virtue of starting the week in the top 5 in the standings.
HELEN ROSS, CHIEF OF CORRESPONDENTS: Let's see, a golf course playing firm and fast -- with a handy-dandy Sub-Air system to combat the approaching rain. Look for East Lake to keep its fire and the winner to come from the final pairing of understated former U.S. Open champions. Jim Furyk is looking for his third win of the season while Retief Goosen has done everything but hoist a trophy with nine top-10s. Furyk will come out on top in a close battle and establish himself as the favorite for Player of the Year in the process. And the winner will be...Furyk. He'd be the only player besides Tiger Woods to win the FedExCup without playing in all four Playoffs events. Of course, he didn't skip The Barclays by choice -- he was disqualified for missing his pro-am tee time. He started the Playoffs in the all-important top 5 in the standings, though, so it would be poetic justice of sorts to see him win from 11th.
