Bill Haas
Bill Haas picks up his second win of the season (Bob Hope Classic). Haas is the seventh multiple winner of the season. Jim Furyk leads the TOUR with three wins.
Haas is no stranger to success at Annandale GC. In his two starts here, he finished T3 in 2007 with rounds of 68-67-70-72 and T4 in 2008 with rounds of 69-69-66-68. He is now a collective 42-under in 12 rounds at Annandale GC, all at par-or-better.
Haas won his second TOUR event in his 163rd start. His father Jay won his second TOUR event in his 142nd start on TOUR. The elder Haas never played in the Viking Classic.
Haas finished 10-under on the 16 par-5 holes at Annandale Golf Club.
Haas moves from No. 40 to No. 26 on the PGA TOUR Money List. The top 30 players on the season ending money list earn exemptions into the 2011 Masters and the 2011 U.S. Open.
Haas' win is the 16th this year by a player in his 20s (12 players), compared to just seven in 2009.
Haas records his third top-10 finish of the year (1st-Bob Hope Classic, Viking Classic; T6-WGC-CA Championship).
Haas wins in his first attempt when entering the final round with the lead. He is the 17th player to go on to victory after holding the third-round lead/co-lead in 41 events on TOUR this year.
