SAN ANTONIO -- The start of the second round of the Valero Texas Open has been postponed until 7:10 a.m. CT, Saturday.

• The Valero Texas Open is the 11th out of 20 events on the PGA TOUR in 2010 to have play suspended. It is the eighth of 20 events to be suspended due to inclement weather.

• The postponement of the second round at the Valero Texas Open marks the second time on the TOUR in 2010 that an entire round has been postponed until the following day. The second round of the Bob Hope Classic in January was postponed until the following day due to heavy rain.

• Friday's suspension of the second round marks the third time since 2003 that the Valero Texas Open has experienced a weather-related delay. Last year's third round was suspended for 4 hours, 53 minutes due to threatening weather and was completed the following day. In 2003, the second round was delayed 10 minutes due to darkness and rain.

• TPC San Antonio received 3.15 inches of rain Friday when play was officially postponed for the day at approximately 2:35 p.m. CT.
