Q. Bill, 5 under par out there is a good round especially when you get up and down for par on the 18th?
BILL HAAS: Yes, absolutely. I kind of didn't have it this morning, and I was just kind of getting around and made a few good swings and made three in a row there, 7, 8 and 9 that kind of got me going. You know, this course, you can't really play from the rough, so I'm just trying to hit fairways and from there you can be aggressive because the greens are receding from now. I think they are going to dry out. They will get tough. Luckily I play early Thursday, usual that's the softtest the greens are going to be.
Q. We know in a place like this it doesn't take long to get warmed up because of how hot it is, what was it during your round that clicked for you?
BILL HAAS: I don't know, I was kind of hitting hooks early the first, second third hole. All kind of nasty looking draws off the tee. And then 5 is one of our tougher holes out here and the pin was back left and it kind of set up for that hook shot, and I hit it close there and got it back to even par. All right, let's figure this out, and I was able to hit one there so I felt like that turned it around.
Q. Part of your game that your happiest with so far this week?
BILL HAAS: Honestly, my putting. Even today, if you would have asked me yesterday morning, I would have said that's my worst putt. I was watching a couple of guys putt. I changed my stroke a little bit. I was trying to get the ball to roll over end a little bit better.
