MICHAEL SIM. Though he hasn't been healthy all season, he's still had a good year. Sim finished second at the Farmers Insurance Open and T23 at the HP Byron Nelson. He's still looking for that first win on the PGA TOUR.
Anne
Szeker
J.J. HENRY. He doesn't have great history at this tournament (shot 66 on Sunday last year to finish T22), but it's a home game for the Fort Worth resident, so hopefully he can convert some of that comfort into low scores.
Mike
McAllister
BLAKE ADAMS. Comes off a tie for second in Dallas where he went to the 72nd hole with a chance to win. Hopefully there will not be any lingering effects from dunking his approach shot in the water.
John
Swantek
MATT JONES. I'm overlooking the MC in Dallas (74-68) because his first round spilled over two days. I like the way he's playing (3 straight top 25's before last week). Makes a run for the Aussie/Texas 3-week sweep this week.
Lauren
Deason
BRANDT SNEDEKER. Though he hasn't played well in the past few weeks, he's bound to turn his year around at some point. In his only Colonial start, Sneds tied for 27th, so maybe this is the place where he regains some confidence.
Brian
Wacker
JAMES NITTIES. I'm going purely with the Australians-play-well-in-Texas theory on this one. Nitties did that a couple weeks ago with a T17 at the Valero Texas Open.
Ryan
Smithson
PAUL GOYDOS. In 11 starts at Colonial CC, Goydos has three top-10s, including a T2 in 1999. The course suits his game, plus he's already notched two top-5 finishes this year, so why not?
Helen
Ross
STEVE MARINO. This hasn't been Marino's best season with just one top-10. But the UVA product certainly has a good track record at Colonial with ties for 24th, 10th and second in his last three starts.
Standings after Week 20
