Special PLAYERS ticket packages now available

The 2010 PGA TOUR Regular Season is underway and, despite the cool temperatures along the First Coast, spring and THE PLAYERS Championship are not far away. Reserve your seats now in golf's greatest stadium by taking advantage of special Family Plan and "The Turn" ticket packages, now available for purchase, tournament officials announced today. THE PLAYERS Championship, which annually features the strongest field in golf, returns to THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, May 3-9.

Introduced for the first time in 2009, the Family Package is the most cost-effective way for families to enjoy THE PLAYERS for one low price. The package includes two adult tickets, two youth tickets (children 18 years old and under) and one free parking pass for one day of tournament action. The Family Plan is priced at $129 (plus tax & fees) per day, Thursday-Saturday, while Sunday's final round, played on Mother's Day, can be purchased for a reduced price of $99 (plus tax & fees).

Brand new to THE PLAYERS in 2010 is "The Turn," a casual, shared hospitality venue centrally located between the 9th and 18th holes. Guests will have the option of interior seating, which provides an excellent view of the action on the 583-yard, par-5 9th hole, or outside stadium seating on the opposite side offering wonderful sight lines to the 462-yard, par-4 18th hole, one of the most challenging finishing holes in professional golf. Weekly tickets to "The Turn," which provides access Monday-Sunday, are available for $379 (plus tax & fees). Guests will also enjoy upscale food and bar services available for purchase, flat-screen televisions, courtesy phones and private restroom facilities.

And with the debut of 'The Turn', fans will be able to watch action on the 9th hole for the first time from a luxury box, then will need to merely turn around and view play at the difficult 18th, one of the most exciting finishing holes in the game."

Daily and weekly grounds tickets are also available for purchase and will remain at the prices listed below until tournament week.

Weekly Clubhouse Ticket, $449 (plus tax & fees, Provides access to TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse, "The Turn" and grounds).
