SAN DIEGO -- D.A. Points and Ryuji Imada share the 36-hole lead at the 2010 Farmers Insurance Open at 11-under-par (133). Imada has yet to post a bogey through 36 holes while Points has just one (No. 7 on the North Course in Round 1).
Points has held two previous 36-hole leads/co-leads on the PGA TOUR.

The 2009 Nationwide Tour Player of the Year Michael Sim (T3) is two off the lead after posting a 10-under-par 62 on the North Course on Friday. The 62 was one off the course record shared by Mark Brooks (1990) and Brandt Snedeker (2007).
Matt Every (T3) and Rickie Fowler (T10) are the lone rookies among the top-10 through 36 holes. Every missed his first cut of the season last week at the Bob Hope Classic while Fowler missed the cut in his first two starts of the season at the Sony Open in Hawaii and Bob Hope Classic.
Phil Mickelson (T10) made the cut in his season debut, his 17th made cut in 21 starts at the Farmers Insurance Open. The 17 made cuts include three wins and nine top-10s.
Defending champion Nick Watney posted a 2-under-par 70 on the South Course on Friday and sits T42 (-3) heading into the weekend.
John Rollins, who finished runner-up to Nick Watney at last year's Farmers Insurance Open, sits T5 after opening 70-66.
The 11-under-par (133) leading total through 36 holes is identical to Camilo Villegas' 2009 lead at the halfway point. The lowest first 36-hole total in the last five years was posted by Brandt Snedeker in 2007 at 13-under-par.
The cut came at 2-under-par 142, with 78 players moving on to the weekend. The last two years the cut was 2-over-par.
Both amateurs -- Gunner Wiebe (151) and Estanisiao Guerrero (154) -- missed the cut this week. The last amateur to make the cut at the Buick Invitational was Jamie Lovemark, who did so in 2008.
