CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Tournament officials are excited to formally announce the creation of a unique program in the Cincinnati sports marketplace, whereby 100 percent of all general admission ticket revenue will be returned to charity. The Chiquita Classic's TICKETS Fore CHARITY program is designed to help participating non-profit organizations make a difference in the Cincinnati community.

Representatives from different charities, including Tournament Honorary Chairman Anthony Munoz on behalf of The Anthony Munoz Foundation, attended a charity breakfast this morning to officially launch the program. Each of the participating organizations receives customized order forms as well as an internet presence at www.chiquitaclassic.com. Customers purchasing tickets online, or at the gate during tournament week, will be required to select a charity from the available list. Currently, participating charities include:

• The Anthony Munoz Foundation

• The First Tee

• Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

• Arthritis Foundation

• Aubrey Rose Foundation

• Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Warren & Clinton Counties

• Cancer Free Kids

• Cincinnati Youth Collaborative

• Clark Montessori School Foundation

• Hospice of Cincinnati

• Kicks for Kids, Inc.

• LifePoint Solutions

• National MS Society

• Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati

• Tender Mercies

"Chiquita is proud to be the title sponsor of this tournament," said Brian Kocher, president of Chiquita Fresh North America. "It's not only a great way to promote healthy, fresh Chiquita products but most importantly our efforts will support great charities like the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation."

"We are able to offer this program thanks to the tremendous support of our title sponsor, Chiquita, who has provided the tournament with the financial foundation that allows us to give back to local charities in this manner," said tournament director, Thomas Federl. "We look forward to adding additional charities into the program and we encourage the Cincinnati community to support the efforts of our participating non-profit organizations by purchasing tickets to the Chiquita Classic."

In conjunction with the launch of the TICKETS Fore CHARITY program, tickets are now officially available for the 2010 Chiquita Classic, to be held July 12 - 19 at TPC River's Bend. For more information please visit http://www.chiquitaclassic.com/ or call (513) 721-GOLF.
