McGraw might have to add another verse after his Wednesday visit to the 2010 PLAYERS Championship for Military Appreciation Day. After the star sang five of his most popular songs for members of the armed forces, their families, and golf fans in front of the TPC Sawgrass clubhouse, Commissioner Tim Finchem had a special surprise.
Trudy Thompson, an expectant military wife, did not think her husband would make it for the birth of their second child. All of their husbands were not expected to make it back for the birth of their children.

We may not have won the Ryder Cup that year, but we wore our colors with honor."
For those fortunate enough to be in the audience -- including myself -- at TPC Sawgrass that day, it was truly an honor ... and a tear-jerker.
