Anyone that's ever played golf has likely heard the quotes from the movie, "Caddyshack." Millions of times. Some of them are only slightly less annoying than having someone say "One" when your ball falls off the tee. That being said, here are the movie's top 10 underrated quotes.

"License to kill gophers by the government of the United Nations. Man, free to kill gophers at will. To kill, you must know your enemy, and in this case my enemy is a varmint. And a varmint will never quit - ever. They're like the Viet Cong - Varmint Cong. So you have to fall back on superior firepower ... and superior intelligence. And that's all she wrote."

-- Carl Spackler

The best thing about this Bill Murray bit is the loud clicking of the gun at the end. This particular burst from Murray is every bit as funny as his one-take winning-at-Augusta National bit.

"That's a peach hon. Oh golly, I'm hot today."

-- Mr. Havercamp

According to the Internet Movie Database, the role of Mr. Havercamp was played by 83-year-old Kenneth Burritt. His 82-year-old wife, Rebecca, played Mrs. Havercamp. It was the only movie credit for both.

"T'anks for nuttin'!"

-- Maggie O'Hooligan

This might be the toughest quote to recite. O'Holligan's Irish character was so on the money that it's hard to believe that actress Sarah Holcomb wasn't even Irish. It's even harder to believe that she never made another movie after her run as Danny Noonan's troubled flame.

"Pick up that blood!"

-- Lou

Self-explanatory. You don't pick up blood. You leave it there. As long as it takes for nature to take it away.

"Hey, you scratched my anchor!"

-- Al Czervik

The tears that came from Judge Smails' eyes when Czervik destroys the dinghy totally make this scene. That, and the fact that Czervik really did look annoyed that his anchor did, indeed, get scratched. Knight's real name? Ted Konopk. His gravestone at L.A. Forest Lawn cemetery doesn't mention his service in World War II.

""In the immortal words of Jean Paul Sartre, 'Au revoir, gopher'"

-- Carl Spackler

Jean-Paul Sartre was a French writer who died three months before the movie was released. Where Bill Murray pulled the reference from is probably known only to him.

"Gambling is illegal at Bushwood, and I neeeeeeeeeeeeever slice."

-- Judge Smails

Ah, but he did slice. And he later gambled. And lost.

"Hey Moose! Rocco! Help the judge find his checkbook!"

-- Al Czervik

Funny thing is, neither Moose nor Rocco looked that intimidating, and they were also really slow. No way they could have caught the Judge, who had, like, a 200-foot head start.

Neither "Moose" or "Rocco" s listed in the credits.

"How about a Fresca?"

-- Judge Smails

This quote is followed by Smails tousling Danny Noonan's hair. By our account, he is the only male in the movie to touch Danny's hair.

"Excellency, fiddlesticks! My name's Fred! And I'm a man, same as you."

-- The Bishop

The bishop is sitting at the bar drinking Rob Roys, which is 1.5 ounces scotch and a half-ounce vermouth. Some bartenders like to make it half and half. At 6-for-4, Henry Wilcoxon, the man who played the bishop, was the same height as Chevy Chase.
