Hello everybody,

I'm back home after three weeks on the road. I ended the road trip on a high note so that always makes the traveling easier! There's something about Singapore that suits my game. It was great to perform well there again. The field was bigger this year and very competitive with Poults and GMac on my heels most of the way. It was also a grueling week with all the weather delays. I don't think there's been a year that I've played that tournament without weather delays. The humid conditions are also hard to deal with, you have to keep hydrated and I was sometimes drinking a bottle of water per hole and that still wasn't enough! Anyway, it feels great to have another win this year and especially to have it in Singapore.

I'm gearing up to defend my title at the Australian Open in a couple of weeks. While I was away, I had a putting green installed in my backyard so been practicing a lot on it... Kind of nice to be able to walk out my back door and it's right there! Other than that, I've just been catching up with friends and starting to think about Christmas. It will be here soon.

We've had an overwhelming response for the iPads Grants Program through my Foundation. The applications are available starting this week so if you are interested or know a family that could benefit from the program you can visit www.adamscott.com or www.autismqld.com.au for more information.

Merchandise will be available through my website soon so be sure and check it out. We are targeting for the store to be up and running before Christmas. Also, check out the new Titleist 910 driver on my Facebook page.

Thanks for all the congratulatory messages and well wishes. It feels great to get another win this year and really looking forward to the summer of golf down here in Australia.

Take care and I'll write more soon,

-Adam

It's been a busy few weeks! I hope all is well for everyone reading this. I'm in Shanghai and had a good pro-am yesterday. I'm hitting the ball well so hopefully that brings a good result this week. It's a competitive field, so looking forward to teeing it up in the morning. I played well last week in Malaysia, but felt a little rusty after a few weeks away from competition. I've got four tournaments remaining in 2010 and hoping to get another win in before the end of the year.

I want to thank everyone that was a part of our first 'Tee It Up For Kids Gala' benefitting the Foundation. It was a spectacular night and we raised a lot of money to help our youth in Australia. We launched a new program that evening called The Autism Grants Program that will donate iPads that are equipped with specialized programs to autistic children.

We have received an overwhelming response from this initiative and we are finalizing the details of the application process so please check the website soon for more information. Thanks again for making our first gala so successful. Pictures of the gala are posted on my Facebook page, so check them out.

More foundation news -- our first scholarship recipient graduates this month. Congratulations to Andrew Savins! The deadline for this year's scholarship application is November 19th so be sure and get your application in, all details on this are listed on our website.

Shifting gears: Rest in peace Andy Irons. A tragic loss and a true legend in surfing, my thoughts are with his wife and family.

That's all for now. More from Singapore next week.

Oct. 15, 2010

It's been a busy week both personally and professionally! My sister got married so it's been a family-filled and fun week in Australia. I've also managed quite a bit of training with Darbs and some surfing.

We are also getting ready for our inaugural TEE IT UP FOR KIDS GALA to raise money for my Foundation. We are completely sold out and it's going to be a great evening so looking forward to that next Friday. Thank you to everyone that has purchased a table, making our first gala a sellout! The gala is taking place in Sydney at the Doltone House and we have a lot of fun things planned for the evening including some really great auction prizes. All proceeds with go towards some great causes including our scholarship program.

We are also going to launch a new initiative that evening called The Autism Grants Program. It's a program that will help children and families affected with Autism to better communicate through an iPad. Several applications have been developed for the iPad to enhance the ability of an autistic child to communicate more effectively with those around them. I am very pleased that my Foundation has developed this program in collaboration with Australia Spectrum Disorders. We will have more information posted on my website later this week so when you get time check it out.

That's about it for now. Another busy week ahead in Australia and then off to Kuala Lumpur for the CIMB Asia Pacific Classic. I look forward to seeing everyone at the gala next Friday. For those that aren't able to make it you can find out more information on all the cool programs the Foundation is working on through my website later this week.

Take care and I'll write more after our event next week. Also, in case you missed it we changed my Facebook page - check it out at http://www.facebook.com/Page.AdamScott.

Sept. 30, 2010

Hope this blog finds everyone well. Sorry it's taken me a few weeks to write an update. I'm home in Australia for a few weeks. It's great to be home and I have a lot going on so I'll be busy. I wrapped up my U.S. season at the TOUR Championship last week in Atlanta. It definitely wasn't the ending I was hoping for and I had high hopes of finishing better. To be honest, I am hitting the ball incredibly well and I'm feeling a lot more comfortable around the greens but just couldn't convert anything at East Lake. It was a frustrating week but that's behind me. I have a lot of golf left for 2010 and I am focusing on playing well for the remainder of the year. My next event is last week of October at the CIMB Asia Pacific Classic at The Mines Resort in Kuala Lumpur. It's going to be a great event, 40 players competing for a very big purse.

I wanted to send out a big Congratulations to Ernie...well deserved with the announcement of being selected to enter the World Golf Hall of Fame. Ernie is a great friend and he deserves the honor. He's worked hard throughout his career and has so much golf left.

We are gearing up for my Foundation event on Oct. 22 at the Doltone House in Sydney. We will make an announcement that evening about our latest project that will assist families and children affected with autism. In collaboration with Autism Spectrum Disorders of Australia we are going to launch a grants program. More information will be posted on my website later this month so be sure and check it out. Also, we have a few tables left if you would like to come to the gala on the 22nd. For more information please visit the Foundation Section at www.adamscott.com.

I also wanted to let you know we are changing my official Facebook page to http://www.facebook.com/Page.AdamScott effective Oct. 1. Please be sure and switch over to that page for all the latest information on and off the golf course.

I want to thank everyone for their support in the U.S. during my 2010 season! I look forward to seeing everyone again in Hawaii at the start of the PGA TOUR in January. Until then though I have a lot of golf left this year and I'm looking forward to hopefully getting another win!

I'll write more next week. Have a good weekend.

-Adam

Sept. 6, 2010

I flew over to Chicago last night after the round with Tony, David and Tom Gillis. Tom's been grinding on the Nationwide Tour so it is was great to see him play so well and make it to the next leg of the FedExCup playoffs. I'm probably not going to go to the course today in order to get some rest. I'm watching the U.S. Open and enjoying the matches!

I had four solid rounds at the Deutsche Bank. Coming off of a good week and I was pleased for the most part with my putting. The weather yesterday was perfect golf weather! Scores weren't as low as you would think because of the tough pin placements and the par-3 pins were tucked away so it was definitely playing more difficult than the previous day. Congrats to Charley for winning! I enjoyed my time with him at UNLV and he's a good friend. It was well deserved.

I just wanted to let everyone know in the U.S. that I've partnered with Tourism Queensland for a promotion to win a trip to Australia and play golf with me in the pro-am at the Australian PGA in Coolum. The winner and a guest will receive a 13-day vacation in my beautiful home country! The promotion is only offered to U.S. residents and players with a registered handicap. Enter at www.golfwithAdamScott.com or go to my website www.adamscott.com and click on the button on the homepage.

Well, more U.S. Open, some lunch, rest and then an early night. Looking forward to getting out to Cog Hill tomorrow and having a good look at the course.

Until next time, take care.

August 19, 2010

I'm in California this week. It's been a good few days of some rest after the PGA. I was looking forward to getting back to Whistling Straits for the PGA since I had played well there in 2004. Unfortunately I didn't putt well and left some shots out there which caused my result to be less than ideal. The weather was difficult the first couple of days and caused delays. I've never seen the fog so thick there. Luckily my tee time was later in the day on Thursday but it still made it difficult on all the players. Same delay for Friday and then it cleared up by the weekend except then the wind appeared which created problems for hitting the greens on the last day.

In any event, I want to say a big congratulations to Martin Kaymer for a great performance all 4 days! It was a pretty exciting finish and Martin performed well under the pressure.

I wanted to remind everyone to be sure and sign up for my Facebook fan page (AdamScott_golf)...we're giving away a free iPad and today is the last day you can enter! All you have to do is sign up and then write a comment about our iSwing app.

Enough for now, I'll be in touch next week from the Barclays. Looking forward to the start of the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup!

I'm about to work-out with my trainer and then grab a light lunch. There was quite the delay this morning at the course, new tee time now is 5:25 p.m. ET. Delays are never good for any tournament and even worse at a major. It will be a very long day tomorrow.

I've been swinging the club well since The Open Championship and feel good about this week. I finished well in Akron on Sunday so have a little momentum to carry into this tournament. Although the appearance of the course is similar to a links course it really doesn't play like one. Key is controlling the ball flight and putting well. The rain has made the course pretty soft at the moment so there's more opportunity to be more aggressive at times although patience is everything. Looking forward to getting out there this afternoon.

The new Titleist driver is really good; been working with it since Paris. I really like the ball flight I get with it and it produces a really nice draw. Release date for the driver is later this year.

Be sure and sign up to my facebook page for all the latest information this week. I've got to run for now but will write more next week.

August 2, 2010

I'm back in the U.S. this week. I arrived on Sunday and had a relaxing day in LA and then headed to the east coast yesterday. I've had a great couple of weeks off and I feel recharged and ready to get back to competitive golf this week. I'll head up to Akron, Ohio today and get ready for the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational that starts on Thursday.

After The Open Championship I had a golf outing with Travelers Insurance at Wentworth Golf Club in London. I enjoyed the day and Travelers is a great company. While I was in London we also had the official launch of the new Aquascutum golf apparel line at the flagship store. We've posted some of the photos from that evening on Facebook so hopefully everyone has had a chance to check out the new line. I'm really proud of it and it's not only stylish but very good when it comes to the functionality. I used the outwear at St. Andrews and it's by far the best I've used. The line will come out at the end of this year and we will continue to keep you all updated on the specifics of where and when.

I spent some time back in Switzerland, as well. I don't get a lot of opportunity to spend time at my place there so it felt awesome to be back home and enjoy some down time. Weather was so-so but I didn't care too much -- I needed the rest after several weeks out on TOUR.

I hope everyone enjoyed the iPhone giveaway contest on Facebook. We're going to be running another one next week during the PGA Championship and the prize is an iPad so be sure and sign up to my Facebook page (adamscott_golf). You have to sign up for your chance to win! Thanks to iSwing, we will be running more of these contests in the future. Be sure and download my iSwing app for iTunes too. It's a great tool to use during your practice sessions.

I'll write more from Akron. I can hardly believe it's coming up on our last major of the year...Glory's Last Shot! Where has the summer gone?!?

Until next time, take care.

-Adam

July 14, 2010

It's been an interesting day here at St. Andrews. Winds are howling and the rain is finally here... It's actually horizontal, yes, the rain! I was able to get some practice in before the bloody weather took a turn for the worse. The course is going to play a lot longer for our opening round tomorrow. Forecast indicates that it's not supposed to let up anytime soon. I guess the good thing is that we are all faced with the same challenges. We'll just wait and see how much play we get in tomorrow.

It's been a couple of weeks since I have updated my blog. Time to catch up on a few things! By now you may have heard about my new apparel sponsor, Aquascutum. The outwear is the best I have ever worn and the functionality of outwear is so important to a golfer. It will definitely get used this week at St. Andrews! Aquascutum developed the new product line for golf and it will be in stores at the end of this year. I'm excited that I am the first to wear it and will be able to introduce all of you to the line. It combines performance with an exceptional style! Check it out when you can.

I had a great time in Ireland at the JP McManus Pro-Am. It was a good couple of days and the hospitality was first class. Thanks to everyone that was a part of JP's team. I flew to St. Andrews on Wednesday morning last week and had a few good days of practice. It helps to come to a course a little early and get some practice in before the media and spectators arrive. This is where our sport began and it's such a special place. It's very rich in history and you can feel it when you're here.

I am having a low-key evening and will get to bed early. Tee time is 1:42pm local time (8:42 a.m. ET). I'm feeling good and looking to get off to a good start tomorrow! For more news on The Open follow my page on Facebook (adamscott_golf).

Until next time, take care.

June 29, 2010

It's been awhile since I updated my blog so I finally have the time tonight before I fly to Paris in the morning. I was disappointed to miss the cut at the U.S. Open and it makes it even harder when you miss it by one stroke. The USGA gave Pebble Beach a facelift and the course was challenging. The weather was dry, so the greens and fairways got firmer by the hour. Oh yeah, and the USGA added this high stringy grass on the edges of the bunkers. That was interesting when your ball landed in the two-foot rough! Your short game had to be spot on and obviously mine wasn't the best it needed to be. I just couldn't get putts to fall and it cost me the opportunity to play through the weekend. It was a great venue; it really doesn't get any better than Pebble Beach.

I was able to catch some of the final round on Sunday and I'm glad I had the chance to see Tom Watson walk up No. 18 for probably the last time at Pebble Beach in a major. Tom Watson is truly one of the greats and still is amazing to watch play. It was pretty cool to see him toss his golf ball into the ocean like he did in 1982. I have a feeling he has a lot of golf left; watch out at St. Andrews.

It's unfortunate I missed the cut again last week at the Travelers Championship. It was my first time playing TPC River Highlands and the course was in good shape. The greens were a lot softer than at Pebble so at the start of the week I was looking forward to making some putts and gain some confidence. I usually play well on TPC courses but just couldn't get it going in Cromwell. I'm working on my wedge play and three quarter shots and hopefully can get it going this week in Paris.

I'll write more from Ireland next week. I'm playing in the JP McManus Pro-Am on Monday and Tuesday. It's a very special event and a lot of guys from the TOUR are playing in it this year so should be a good time for a great charity. You can also check out my Facebook and twitter pages for more up-to-date information before next week.

Until next time, take care.

I arrived at Pebble Beach yesterday. The course is in great condition and I've had some good practice sessions. I had a chance to catch the end of the St. Jude Classic, what a great finish. Congrats to Westwood on his first PGA TOUR title in 12 years! It was only a matter of time, Lee is so talented.

I will put in some work away from the course tomorrow and will also get a good training session in at the start of the week. The weather is supposed to be sunny and warm all week -- much different conditions from Bethpage Black last year!

The next issue of our Clubhouse E-newsletter will come out on Wednesday. Be sure and sign up for it in the Clubhouse section of my website. This issue will include announcements on my Foundation (TASF), an announcement regarding my new apparel partner, as well as upcoming schedule and various other news. Be sure and check it out.

Looking forward to teeing it up on Thursday morning with Geoff Ogilvy and Robert Allenby ... hope the Aussies will be cheering from Down Under!

For those following on Twitter, the new screen name is @adamscott_golf and you can locate me on facebook at adamscottgolf.

I'll try to write another entry before Thursday.

Until next time, take care.

June 5, 2010

I'm in Southern California this week preparing for our second major of the year next week. I wasn't very pleased with my performance last week at the Memorial. I just couldn't get the putter going and my stats reflected it. I'm back to the basics this week with my short game and it's feeling more routine.

The set-up at Pebble and all U.S. Open courses is similar -- narrow fairways, fast greens -- so every shot counts and precision is essential for low scores. I'm looking forward to getting back to Monterey and the thrill of the U.S. Open. One thing's for certain: Exciting and roaring crowds with a magnificent backdrop!

I have a full day of practice tomorrow and then I have a photo shoot on Thursday. I'll write more on that later this week and will post some photos on Twitter (@ascott167) and Facebook (adamscottgolf). More later in the week, need to get to bed now.

Until then, take care.

June 1, 2010

I arrived in Ohio last night after a long journey from Oz! I almost forgot how much I love to travel until I encountered the ticket agent at LAX (I'll just leave the name of the airline out of this blog, I'll more than likely have to fly the airline again at some point!) I tried to check in for my domestic flight to Chicago and then final destination Columbus. Sorry, we don't have your booking from LAX to Chicago. So my coach went on our scheduled flight and I waited for the next flight. I arrived just a couple of hours later so in the scheme of 'horrific travel stories' this one doesn't really rate.

I'm looking forward to teeing it up this week. I've always enjoyed playing at Muirfield Village. It's a special week playing for one of the greatest legends of our sport and it's an honor to be back here this year. Jack Nicklaus created this tournament in 1976 and has worked tirelessly to make it one of the most prominent stops on the TOUR.

I enjoyed my time back home, I think next visit will be at the end of the year. I had a good catch up with my office and we also had a few good planning sessions for my Foundation. I am excited that I will soon be able to announce a couple of events coming up later in the year.

I'm off to sleep for a hour or two and then fight off the jet lag... or who knows, maybe tonight I'll be back on track! Hoping the rain isn't too bad tomorrow, it's humid tonight.

I'll be on Facebook and Twitter this week so catch me there for all the latest news. Have a good week.

- Adam

May 22, 2010

I'm taking this week off and enjoying some time at home. It was a great win in San Antonio! I kept feeling my game was right there so I decided to add San Antonio to my schedule, I had never played there before but I felt like it was a good date for a three-week stretch. I was finally able to put it altogether. It had been awhile since I had done that on the PGA TOUR. I made a lot of key putts coming down the stretch, I hit some good shots and a few bad shots, but it was great to be in position where the juices were flowing.

Greg Norman designed the course and when I first played it early that week, I felt like the landscape looked very similar to Australia and I had a feeling that an Aussie would do well. I'm just very happy that Aussie was me! I hope to carry the momentum to The Memorial, which will be my next tournament.

I posted it on Facebook and Twitter but I also want to take a moment here to thank everyone for their support and congratulatory messages. It truly means a lot to me. It's been a couple of years since I've won on the PGA TOUR and it's been a long road back, but I've been working hard to get there. The work never really goes away in this sport because there's always some guy ready to take your place. Just know I never gave up and one of the reasons is because I've had such great support, so I want to say a huge thank you!

I'm going to spend the weekend watching some Aussie football and catching up with my mates. Next week I'll get back into practice with my swing coach and preparations for Ohio.

Enjoy your weekend!

May 12, 2010

I just got back from practice. Weather is hot and conditions are similar to last week. There's a chance of rain later in the week. I flew into San Antonio on Sunday night with Charley Hoffman. Unfortunately we left immediately after Charley's round so we didn't get to celebrate with Tim Clark! What a great round of golf for Tim ... finished it with a clutch putt on No. 18. Nice to see him get his first PGA TOUR win. Nobody deserves it more.

This is my first trip to San Antonio, it's actually fun being in a new city. I don't get a lot of time during a tournament week to see the sites, but I do get to experience the local food in the evenings and I always enjoy that part. If you want good BBQ, this is the place to come!

I've got an afternoon tee time for the pro-am tomorrow, so I'll practice and do a light workout in the morning. I played well last week but still need to get a few more putts to drop. I'm confident it's only a matter of staying patient and continuing to work hard.

I wanted to let everyone know the PGA TOUR put together a new website PGATOUR.com/Together that is a good resource to learn what the TOUR and all the players are doing for charity. Check it out when you get time.

I'll write more next week. Until then you can follow me on Facebook and Twitter.

Take care,
-Adam

May 2, 2010

It's Sunday afternoon, and I'm packing up my hotel room to head out to the airport soon. I stayed the weekend in Charlotte after missing the cut on Friday to get some much-needed practice. Needless to say it was a tough week at Quail Hollow. I was out of rhythm, and unfortunately it showed on my scorecard. There are some weeks you can grind it out and find yourself still there on the weekend and other times when nothing seems to feel right. I started working with a new putter this week and was having some issues with the feel of it. I've worked a lot with it since Friday and now feeling a lot better with it.

Meanwhile off the course, I'll be making an announcement regarding a new Foundation project in the next couple of weeks. The ASF advisory board is working on the final details of the project plans so it will be forthcoming soon. Also, as soon as the iSwing Golf Analyzer application goes live, I'll post a message on Facebook and Twitter as well as news from THE PLAYERS next week.

Gotta run to the airport but I'll be in touch next week from Ponte Vedra Beach at THE PLAYERS Championship.

Until then, take care.

April 15, 2010

Well, this time last week I had just completed my first 2010 tournament round at the Masters. I was in the last group to tee off on Thursday with David Duval, and Ricky Barnes and luckily we were able to get the round in. We had some rain, and it was windy, but we were able to complete it. I left Augusta National that night feeling pretty good; it was the first time I had ever broken 70 at the Masters, and I was in good position after day one.

Day two was a bit of a struggle, had a hard time getting things going and couldn't find the feel with my putter. After my round I spent the next couple of hours on the putting green with my coach, and we worked through a few things. I felt better on Saturday and had a good round on Sunday. All in all I left Augusta feeling more confident and I now know that my ball striking is where it needs to be. Obviously there's work to be done with my short game, and it's starting to come together. Patience is the key.

I'm taking a little time away from the clubs this week, and then I'll be back at it next week preparing for Quail Hollow. I have a few business commitments next week in London, and I'll be practicing there until I get to North Carolina. It's been a nice few days and haven't done too much except catch up on sleep. By the way, my new Facebook page is Adam Scott Golf instead of ascott167. Be sure and check it out when you have time.

I just wanted to end by thanking everyone that supported me last week in Augusta and also to those that sent best wishes to my Web site. It can sometimes be a grind and your support makes all the difference. I appreciate it more than you know.

Until next time, take care.

April 7, 2010

I'm just about to head over to Augusta National and get some practice in before the Par 3 Contest this afternoon. The annual Par 3 Contest is a long time tradition dating back to 1959. It's been a few years since I've played it so I'm looking forward to having a little fun out there playing with Tim Clark and Trevor Immelman. It's a good way to wind down the day before tournament play begins. The patrons really get into it so it's always pretty loud and a fun atmosphere.

I had a good finish in Houston last week. I'm striking the ball well and feeling more confident in that area of my game. Brad and I have been working a lot on my short game and spending time talking about the basics of putting and not making it too technical. It's important to keep it simple and that's been the main focus.

It feels great to be back at the Masters. I still get goose bumps every time I take the drive in on Magnolia Lane. I never get used to the drive into the clubhouse and it always brings back memories of watching the tournament as a kid with my dad every year. There are so many traditions and it's such a magical place. This year they've constructed a new practice range with a lot more room for us... great addition and very well done.

Well, I'm looking forward to getting out there tomorrow. I'm in the last group to tee off and hopefully the rain doesn't cause any delays. The greens will be cut tonight and in perfect tournament form for the first ball hit tomorrow. My practice rounds have been consistent and putting will be key for a successful round. I need to get going but just wanted to thank everyone for their support... should be a great week.

I'll be in touch soon.

-Adam

Hello Everybody,

I just realized I haven't posted anything since Doral. I've spent the last couple of days working hard with my trainer, David. We've gone through a lot of work in the past several months getting ready for this part of the season and I'm feeling strong. It's an interesting part of the year and it seems like no matter how much you plan it arrives before you know it. I haven't had the best start for 2010 but I'm hitting the ball well and feeling confident with my swing so I think I'm only a round away from putting it all together. I'm spending the rest of this week practicing and training in the West Palm Beach area and then will fly over to Houston early next week to get ready for the Shell Houston Open.

I wanted to remind everyone that our newly redesigned newsletter will be released on April 1st. Be sure and sign up in the clubhouse section on my Web site, if you haven't already, to receive the bimonthly issues.

I couldn't end this blog without saying Congratulations to Ernie for his big win at Doral! The following day I was fortunate enough to be a part of the Els for Autism Foundation Day and it was a remarkable day. I know events like that aren't possible without all the volunteers and people that support the cause so just wanted to say thanks to everyone that was a part of the day.

I'll write more from Houston next week.

Until then, take care.

-Adam

Hello Everybody,

I'm back home on the Gold Coast and enjoying the Saturday afternoon. I got back a few days ago and have been practicing with my coach. I spent a few days in Southern California training after match play in Tucson. Congratulations to Ian for winning the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship, he's clearly playing well and has been for several weeks. I felt good after my first round against Angel Cabrera, I played well and was confident going into the second round. Unfortunately I met the eventual winner in the second round. I'm feeling good about my game and I am hopeful it will all come together soon. It's just a matter of time. I look forward to getting back to the states in about a week to compete at Doral. I've always liked the Florida Swing and look forward to getting back to Miami.

On a separate note, I wanted to let everyone know we are making a few changes to my website and we will have the updates soon so stayed tuned. Our next Clubhouse Newsletter will be sent out on April 1st with a newly revamped look, including detailed information on my foundation, Scott Golf Designs, and my sponsors. Be sure and sign up in the clubhouse section of my site to receive the newsletters and to also have a chance to win prizes in our newsletter trivia contests. I will have more foundation news soon, we are working on a new project and I look forward to announcing it soon.

I'll write more next week. Until then, take care and have a good weekend.

Feb. 17, 2010

Hello Everybody,

I'm just getting ready to head out to dinner but wanted to post a quick blog entry. I flew to Tucson on Sunday afternoon after the AT&T. I really enjoyed being back in Monterey and playing the three courses. It is a very well-run event given there are three courses we are playing on throughout the week. There is something very magical about Pebble Beach and it felt great to be back there. I'm really looking forward to the U.S. Open. The course conditions will be quite different in June then what we faced last week. Pebble and Spyglass were pretty saturated with all the rain they've had. Pebble Beach will be a good test for us in June, but there's a lot of golf to focus on before then!

Match Play begins tomorrow. I had a good practice round today, played 18 this afternoon and the course is in pretty good shape. I did some filming for CNN's Living Golf yesterday at The Gallery Course at Dove Mountain with Justin Armsden. It should air soon, check the Living Golf Web site for airtimes in your area. The weather here is ideal, warm and not too much wind. I play Angel Cabrera for my first round and we tee off at 8:23 a.m. local time. Competition is tough this week so every match will be competitive, have to play really well for five days straight. Looking forward to the challenge and it's always an interesting week.

I gotta run but take care and I'll be in touch soon.

Hello Everybody,

I just got back from a practice round at Spyglass and also my media conference. I got to Monterey on Saturday; Tony and I drove over from L.A. I haven't been here for a long time and I guess I forgot how amazing this place is.

The views from all three courses are spectacular ... each course has its own unique charm and postcard views. I was able to play all three courses during practice rounds so I've had an opportunity to get a feel for them. Monterey Peninsula is probably draining the best out of the three, so it's in pretty good shape.

I feel good and have been working hard, so I'm hopeful for a good result. Even though I missed the cut last week, I still felt like things were right on track given it was my first week back in the new year.

It's been a cold and damp week in Monterey but it's supposed to dry out by the weekend. The sun was actually out this afternoon so that's a good sign! I don't really have too much to report this week. It's been a positive time this week preparing for the tournament and just looking forward to teeing it up in the morning at Spyglass!

Have a great weekend and will touch base next week from Tucson.

Hello Everybody,

This is my last week at home for awhile and I've been working hard and getting ready for the start of my year at the Northern Trust Open next week. I've had a great time through the holidays and this month having the proper time to visit friends and spend time with family. In addition, I've had adequate time to gear up for the 2010 season and work with the new grooves. Now more than ever, it's important to have that good touch and feel around the greens. The ball will be spinning less, so imagination will also be a key. I'm feeling comfortable and have been spending extra time in that area. I've also been able to get up early and do a little surfing to start my days down here so that always puts me in a good frame of mind!

I've been working closely with the board of directors for my foundation and will have some exciting news in the next couple of weeks to share with everyone. We are working through the details and I look forward to making an announcement soon. Please stay tuned.

I can't wait to get back out on TOUR and look forward to seeing everyone at the Riviera. I'll write more from Los Angeles next week.

Until next time, take care.

Hello Everybody,

Happy New Year! Sorry it has taken me a couple of weeks to update my blog. I have enjoyed some down time during the holidays and am now starting to pick things up again. I can hardly believe the holidays came and went ... not sure where the time goes! It was great to spend them with my family and friends on the Gold Coast. Mum made a fantastic dinner as always! I hope everyone had a terrific holiday season and got to spend the time with friends and family.

I took some time away from my clubs but I will get back into a full practice schedule starting early next week. My first tournament back will be the Northern Trust Open at Riviera Country Club. I am really looking forward to it as I have played well there in the past. The first part of my schedule for 2010 is posted on my website and we will be updating it periodically. I will play 3 weeks in a row - Northern Trust Open, AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and then Match Play in Marana, Arizona. I feel good about the progress I made at the end of 2009 and the momentum should continue in 2010!

I'll write more next week. Until then, have a great weekend and take care.
