MORE: Interactive Kodak Challenge scorecards

The Kodak Challenge is a first-of-its-kind competition for PGA TOUR players, who must play at least 18 of the 30 Kodak Challenge holes to be eligible to win. A player's lowest score relative to par on his best 18 Kodak Challenge holes will be counted. The player with the lowest cumulative score relative to par wins $1 million and the Kodak Challenge trophy.

2010 KODAK CHALLENGE: The 2010 Kodak Challenge schedule continues this week on hole No. 14 at TPC Southwind. The second year of the competition includes 21 of the original 30 holes, with two tournaments joining the Kodak Challenge: No. 15 at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, N.C., site of the Quail Hollow Championship; and No. 14 at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, home of the Memorial Tournament presented by Morgan Stanley.

The remaining new holes appear at returning tournaments that move to new courses and two existing courses that have changed holes. Twenty-nine of the 30 Kodak Challenge tournaments for 2010 have been finalized. An announcement on the 30th tournament will be made in the near future.

THIS WEEK'S HOLE: The par-3 239-yard 14th at TPC Southwind.
DESCRIPTION: This hole requires a long iron or wood tee shot. An elevated tee and a full carry over water to a severely undulated green is hard enough, but it's also protected by water on its entire right side. In short, it's a very difficult par 3, set among a natural amphitheater. (Click here for tour).

Final round
Rory McIlroy gave fans on the Kodak Challenge hole at TPC Southwind something to cheer about Sunday, as the tough par 3 continued to test the pros during the final round of the St. Jude Classic. McIlroy dropped his tee shot just 16 inches from the cup, leaving an easy tap-in for one of the few Kodak Challenge birdies on the 239-yard 14th hole.

No. 14 at TPC Southwind challenged the pros all week during the St. Jude Classic. Sunday's play proved the most difficult, as only six birdies were recorded during the final round. McIlroy's picture-perfect tee shot easily won Kodak Challenge Moment of the Day honors.

Bogies (90) outnumbered birdies (52) this week on No. 14, as the Kodak Challenge hole was the second hardest hole overall at TPC Southwind. There were 52 birdies, 289 pars, 90 bogeys and 23 double bogies on the Kodak Challenge hole during the St. Jude Classic.

Rickie Fowler, who was idle this week, currently leads the 2010 Kodak Challenge at 10-under par. The next Kodak Challenge hole is the par 4 296-yard 15th hole at TPC River Highlands during the Travelers Championship on June 24-27.
Third round
No. 14 at the St. Jude Classic loosened its grip on the field Saturday as several Kodak Challengers birdied the 239-yard par-3 hole to move up the leaderboard. Second round
For the second consecutive day, the 14th hole at the St. Jude Classic presented by Smith & Nephew gave the pros all they could handle. The tough 239-yard Kodak Challenge hole at TPC Southwind lived up to its reputation as one of the more difficult par 3s on the PGA TOUR, offering up just 16 birdies. Thanks to Charley Hoffman, the day on the Kodak Challenge hole was not without excitement. Hoffman drilled a 78-foot putt to card one of Friday's few Kodak Challenge birdies.

Lee Janzen dropped a 51-footer from off the edge of the green to provide additional Kodak Challenge heroics. Hoffman's dramatic putt was nearly outdone by Brett Wetterich, who landed his tee shot just 3 feet from the cup for the easiest Kodak Challenge birdie of the second round. Camilo Villegas also birdied to move to within three strokes of the Kodak Challenge leader, Rickie Fowler, who is idle this week.
