MORE: Interactive Kodak Challenge scorecards

The Kodak Challenge is a first-of-its-kind competition for PGA TOUR players, who must play at least 18 of the 30 Kodak Challenge holes to be eligible to win. A player's lowest score relative to par on his best 18 Kodak Challenge holes will be counted. The player with the lowest cumulative score relative to par wins $1 million and the Kodak Challenge trophy.

2010 KODAK CHALLENGE: The 2010 Kodak Challenge schedule continues this week on hole No. 18 at Harbour Town. The second year of the competition includes 21 of the original 30 holes, with two tournaments joining the Kodak Challenge: No. 15 at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, N.C., site of the Quail Hollow Championship; and No. 14 at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, home of the Memorial Tournament presented by Morgan Stanley.

The remaining new holes appear at returning tournaments that move to new courses and two existing courses that have changed holes. Twenty-nine of the 30 Kodak Challenge tournaments for 2010 have been finalized. An announcement on the 30th tournament will be made in the near future.

THIS WEEK'S HOLE: The par-3, 215-yard 17th at TPC Louisiana
DESCRIPTION: The long par-3, 215-yard 17th hole at TPC Louisiana has withstood the test of time as one of the most challenging holes on the Kodak Challenge. This year will be no different. Bunkers that once lined the left of the green have been eliminated and replaced with an unforgiving retaining wall located right next to the water. Par for any pro on this newly reshaped green will be a great score. (Click here for tour).

Final round
Birdies were hard to find on the tough Kodak Challenge hole during Sunday's final round of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans at TPC Louisiana. But not for Charlie Wi, who sank a 12-foot birdie putt on No. 17. The birdie moves Wi into a tie for seventh on the Kodak Challenge leaderboard at 5 under. Rickie Fowler currently holds sole possession of the Kodak lead at 7 under.

For the second day in a row, the tough par-3 continued to challenge the pros, as the hole was the 4th hardest on the course. On Sunday, a total of three birdies, 56 pars, 13 bogeys, and 1 double bogey were scored. Four water balls splashed down in the final round, and a total of 40 balls found the water throughout the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. No. 17 was the second hardest hole of the entire tournament.

The "Kodak Challenge Moment" of the day belonged to Shaun Micheel, who sank a 35-footer on the difficult Kodak Challenge hole. Micheel's birdie putt was identical to his birdie during Thursdays round, where he sunk the same putt from 35 feet on No. 17. Throughout the tournament, Micheel carded birdie in three of four chances on the tough par 3.

Also of note, Mathias Gronberg sank a 33-footer from just off the back of the green on No. 17.

The Zurich Classic of New Orleans was the 12th of 30 tournaments to participate in the Kodak Challenge competition. The next Kodak Challenge hole is the par-5 15th hole at Quail Hollow Club at the Quail Hollow Championship on April 29-May 2.
Saturday's rounds
The skies cleared and allowed the pros to finish the second round and part of the third round Saturday at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. The busy schedule gave many pros the unique opportunity to play the par-3 215-yard Kodak Challenge 17th hole twice on Saturday at TPC Louisiana. Much as it did during the opening round, the tough par 3 continued to test the pros, as the hole was the fifth hardest on the course.

Up to the Kodak Challenge was John Senden, who carded a birdie by sinking a 32-foot putt on No. 17. The "Kodak Challenge Moment" of the day belonged Jeff Overton, who sank a 57-footer from off the front of the green. Brad Faxon had the easiest Kodak Challenge birdie of the day after leaving his tee shot just 8 feet from the cup.

Senden's birdie on the par-3 17th hole moves him into a tie for second place in the 2010 Kodak Challenge competition at 6-under-par. Rickie Fowler currently holds sole possession of the Kodak lead at 7-under-par.

The 17th hole was the 5th hardest hole on the course during the completion of the second round and start of the third, yielding 17 birdies, 98 pars, 29 bogies, 4 double bogies, and 5 birdies, 25 pars and 5 bogies, respectively. A total of nine water balls have splashed down through round three.

The Zurich Classic of New Orleans will be the 12th of 30 tournaments to participate in the Kodak Challenge competition.

Jimmy Walker carded one of the days few Kodak Challenge birdies, sinking a 7-footer to join the tie for second place in the $1 million Kodak Challenge competition. Ben Crane also birdied the tough par-3 to move to within two strokes of the Kodak Challenge lead.

Rickie Fowler currently holds sole possession of the Kodak lead at 7 under but is off this week at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

The "Kodak Challenge Moment" of the day belonged to Shaun Micheel, who sank a 35-foot birdie putt on the difficult par-3 hole No. 17.
