MORE: Interactive Kodak Challenge scorecards make debut

The Kodak Challenge is a first-of-its-kind competition for PGA TOUR players, who must play at least 18 of the 30 Kodak Challenge holes to be eligible to win. A player's lowest score relative to par on his best 18 Kodak Challenge holes will be counted. The player with the lowest cumulative score relative to par wins $1 million and the Kodak Challenge trophy.

2010 KODAK CHALLENGE: The 2010 Kodak Challenge schedule continues this week on hole No. 18 at Pebble Beach. The second year of the competition includes 21 of the original 30 holes, with two tournaments joining the Kodak Challenge: No. 15 at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, N.C., site of the Quail Hollow Championship; and No. 14 at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, home of the Memorial Tournament presented by Morgan Stanley.

The remaining new holes appear at returning tournaments that move to new courses and two existing courses that have changed holes. Twenty-nine of the 30 Kodak Challenge tournaments for 2010 have been finalized. An announcement on the 30th tournament will be made in the near future.

THIS WEEK'S HOLE: The par-5, 543-yard 18th at Pebble Beach GL

DESCRIPTION: A new tee further out to sea actually makes the tee shot a little easier, but it still must negotiate the coastline. Only the longest hitters will be able to reach the green in two if they keep their balls in the fairway, although a good, hard drive will bounce considerably because these fairways run firm and fast in the summer. Final round
Dustin Johnson's 4-foot putt for birdie on No. 18 at the Pebble Beach Golf Links sealed his victory at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am Sunday. Johnson's birdie moved him into a tie for second place in the Kodak Challenge lead at 3-under par.

Robert Garrigus provided the Kodak Challenge moment of the final round, holing out from 41 yards to card an eagle on 543-yard par 5. Garrigus' spectacular pitch shot delivered one of only three eagles scored on No. 18 this week.

Among the Kodak Challengers to move up the leaderboard Sunday were Kevin Na, Brian Gay and Rickie Fowler. The trio carded birdies to join the second place tie at 3 under. Matt Kuchar, Brenden Pappas and Tim Clark each carded Kodak Challenge birdies this week to move into a three-way tie for first at 4 under.
Third round
Chris Baryla delivered the Kodak Challenge moment of the day, sinking a 28 foot putt for eagle on the 18th hole at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am on Saturday. Baryla was the only golfer on the Pebble Links course to reach the green in two shots. He made it count, sinking a long putt for just the second Kodak Challenge eagle of the week on the picturesque 543-yard par-5 hole. Baryla is currently two strokes off the Kodak Challenge lead.

The 2009 Kodak Challenge champ, Kevin Streelman, sank a 3-footer for birdie to join the group tied for second at 3-under par. Troy Merritt and D.J. Trahan also birdied No. 18 to move into a tie for second place in the Kodak Challenge.
Second round
Matt Kuchar and Tim Clark joined Brenden Pappas at the top of the Kodak Challenge leaderboard after scoring birdies on the 18th hole at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am Friday. Kuchar and Clark birdied the 543-yard par 5 at the Pebble Beach Links course to grab a share of the Kodak Challenge lead at 4-under-par.

Also making headway on the Kodak Challenge leaderboard today were Martin Laird, Marc Leishman, Matt Bettencourt and John Senden, who all carded birdies on picturesque 18th hole to join the group in second place at 3 under.

Last year's Kodak Challenge winner, Kevin Streelman, who is currently three shots off the AT&T Pebble Beach lead, is scheduled to play No. 18 at Pebble Beach Golf Links on Saturday.
First round
Brenden Pappas sits alone at the top of the Kodak Challenge leaderboard after scoring a birdie on the Kodak Challenge hole, No. 18 at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. Pappas played the par-5 543-yard hole at the Pebble Beach Links course perfectly, dropping a three-foot putt to card a birdie and grab sole possession of the Kodak Challenge lead at 4-under-par.

Rich Beem delivered the Kodak Challenge moment of the day on the picturesque par 5, scoring the lone opening round Kodak Challenge eagle on Thursday. Beem's spectacular second shot from 261 yards landed just 9-feet from the cup. Beem sank the easy putt to join the group just one shot behind Pappas at 3-under-par.

During Thursday's round, one eagle, 18 birdies, 27 pars and 2 bogies were recorded.

The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am is the 5th of 30 tournaments to participate in the $1 million Kodak Challenge competition. Pebble Beach is one of a handful of tournaments this year where the pros don't play the Kodak Challenge hole every day of the tournament. This week's hole is No. 18 on the Pebble Beach Golf Links course -- the pros will play the hole once Thursday through Saturday, and a second time during the final round.
