
PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- A new interactive player scorecard will allow golf fans to follow the Kodak Challenge action in real-time on PGATOUR.COM. The new Kodak Challenge online scorecard will be available at on the TOUR's Kodak Challenge standings page (click here) beginning with the opening round of the Northern Trust Open on Feb, 4.
The new Kodak Challenge player scorecard gives fans the ability to follow the progress of their favorite player over the course of the entire 30-hole Kodak Challenge season. The scoreboard features a real-time leaderboard, as well as individual player statistics for in-tournament scoring and season-to-date performance.
According to Steve Powell, program director of the Kodak Challenge, the information available via the new online scorecard gives fans a close-up view of the Kodak Challenge competition.
"As the Kodak Challenge progressed in 2009, fans following the competition asked for a way to take a closer look at the hole-by-hole performance of the players that they were tracking. The team at PGATOUR.COM has responded by delivering an exciting new scorecard that allows real-time information and a chronology of each player's performance for the year to be delivered with one click of the mouse."
Now in its second year, The Kodak Challenge celebrates the beautiful holes and memorable moments in golf by challenging players to perform their best on 30 designated Kodak Challenge holes throughout the PGA TOUR season. The golfer with the best Kodak Challenge score relative to par at the end of the season will win the Kodak Challenge trophy and $1 million.
The par-4, 315-yard 10th hole at the Northern Trust Open on Feb. 4-7 at Riviera Country Club in Palisades, Calif., is the fourth Kodak Challenge hole of the 2010 season.
