The race is heating up for spots in the 2010 PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup. With just four weeks to go until the playoffs start, each tournament becomes more and more valuable to those on the 125-man cutline.
The top 22 players currently below the cutline are in West Virginia this week for The Greenbrier Classic. Players like Lee Janzen (136th) Chris DiMarco (137th), Joe Durant (142nd) and Woody Austin (144th) are trying to pick up valuable FedExCup points with the first playoff event less than a month away.
More than half of this week's field (73 golfers) would be on the outside looking in if the playoffs started today.
Hovering closest to the cut line, just four points behind an idle Henrik Stenson is Matt Every, who peaked at 46th place earlier this season, but hasn't been in the top 100 in a dozen weeks.
The following is a closer look at the 10 highest-ranked players on the bubble and where a top-10 finish at The Greenbriar Classic would move them in the FedExCup standings.
