With Justin Rose winning again last week and jumping to the No. 2 position, the top 10 saw one of its most active weeks since the opening weeks of the season. Only Ernie Els (No. 1) and Ben Crane (No. 5) are in the same spots they occupied a week ago.
This week at the John Deere Classic, 12 more players have an opportunity to make a jump into the top 10 in the FedExCup standings.
Els, who is playing overseas this week, will retain his top spot for a 16th-consecutive week, but the new No. 2 isn't nearly as safe. Tim Clark (No. 7), Bubba Watson (No. 10), Steve Stricker (No. 14) and Rickie Fowler (No. 15) could each unseat Rose for the No. 2 position with a win this week.
Clark would move into the top five with a finish of 43rd or better. He peaked at the No. 5 position for three weeks after winning THE PLAYERS championship in May.
Anthony Kim (thumb injury) hasn't played since the first weekend in May but still ranked in the top four before being dropped to No. 6 last week. Kim has withdrawn from next week's British Open, but could be back in action by the end of July.
The following is a closer look at 10 players trying to play their way into the Top 10 in the FedExCup standings, and what result at TPC Deere Run it will take to do so.
