On the FedExCup Line: 10 who need a Top 10

The race is heating up for spots in the 2010 FedExCup playoffs. With just seven weeks to go until the playoffs start, each tournament becomes more and more valuable to those on the 125-man cutline.

A dozen golfers currently outside the top 125 could finish this week in the top 30 with a good finish. There are 17 golfers currently out of the playoff picture who, with a finish of 20th or higher, could jump into the top 125.

Nicholas Thompson has been inching closer to the playoffs the last couple weeks. Finishes of T13 and T33 have helped him move from 154th to 127th, just two points shy of a spot the top 125.

Moving the other way has been Mark Wilson (128th) who has been ranked as high as 20th this season. Wilson has missed five consecutive cuts and fallen in the standings each of the last nine weeks, dropping from 89th to 128th in that span.
