Four players within the top 10 have the opportunity to replace Ernie Els at No. 1 in the FedExCup standings this week. Jim Furyk or Phil Mickelson could do it with a win or second place finish, while Tim Clark or Robert Allenby could knock him off with a win. Els has held the No. 1 spot for 10 weeks now.
Matt Kuchar can't reach No. 1, but he's on the top of the list of players aiming to break into the top 10 this week. Kuchar is the second-highest ranked player without a win (behind Robert Allenby, ranked 7th). A repeat of his T5 at the Memorial last year would put him back in the Top 10.
Also notable is Jason Bohn, who at this time last year wasn't even qualified for the FedExCup at 127th. Currently ranked 18th, another win could move him as high as third in the FEC standings.
The following is a closer look at 10 players trying to play their way into the Top 10 in the FedExCup standings, and what result at Muirfield Village it will take to do so.
