SNOQUALMIE, Wash. (AP) -- Jay Haas has withdrawn from the Champions Tour Boeing Classic after tendinitis in his left elbow flared up.

Haas pulled out on Friday morning. He was replaced by first alternate Kirk Hanefeld.

Haas is ranked 15th in the Charles Schwab Cup points race on the Champions Tour and eighth on the money list. Haas was planning to play in the Boeing Classic for the first time.

He tied for 17th at last week's JELD-WEN Tradition. His highest finish on the Champions Tour this year is third.
