Who will win the Administaff Small Business Classic? Champions Tour producer Lauren Deason and former PGA TOUR and Champions Tour winner Joe Inman make their picks.
Inman captured one title on the PGA TOUR at the 1976 Kemper Open, and won the SBC Senior Classic -- now the AT&T Champions Classic -- three consecutive times on the Champions Tour. He's currently the men's golf coach at Georgia State University.
Inman and Deason will each choose one player they consider a favorite as well as a sleeper pick. Here are their selections for this week's event in The Woodlands, Texas. |

Winner: Bernhard Langer. Since my only claim to fame on the Champions Tour is that I won the same tournament three times in a row, I'd like to see if Bernhard Langer can "Joe Inman" this tournament and win for a third straight year.
|
Winner: Jay Haas. Like Joe, I'm going for a player who's trying to win for a third straight time. In this case, it's Presidents Cup assistant captain Jay Haas, the man who has won in his last two starts on the Champions Tour.
|
| Sleeper: Mark James. It's a hard choice this week, since this is like the heavyweight Super Bowl with all of the big names playing. James is my dark horse pick since he's just outside the top 30 on the money list. |
Sleeper: Ben Crenshaw. At 47th in Charles Schwab Cup points, he needs a little luck to make the season's final event. This Texan, one of the most gifted putters ever, should feel right at home as he tries to pick up his first Champions Tour win. |
