REGIONS CHARITY CLASSIC: Tee times | Field | Power Rankings | INSIDE: The Field | The Course

Who will win the Regions Charity Classic? Champions Tour producer Lauren Deason and former PGA TOUR and Champions Tour winner Joe Inman make their picks.

Inman captured one title on the PGA TOUR at the 1976 Kemper Open, and won the SBC Senior Classic -- now the AT&T Champions Classic -- three consecutive times on the Champions Tour. He's currently the men's golf coach at Georgia State University.

Inman and Deason will each choose one player they consider a favorite and a sleeper pick (a player who is not in the top 20 in the Charles Schwab Cup standings). Here are their selections for this week's event in Hoover, Ala.
Inman's picks Deason's picks
Winner: Keith Fergus. You aren't going to see the old guys be as successful this week at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Ross Bridge course. This course is for the young bombers. Keith Fergus is one of the longest hitters I know out there.

Winner: Joey Sindelar. Nick Price earned his first Champions Tour victory two events ago it's about time that Sindelar did the same. He's finished in the top 5 in four of his last five starts, ranks third in Charles Schwab Cup points and he tied for 11th at the Regions Charity Classic last year.

Sleeper: R.W. Eaks. You think we play short courses on the Champions Tour? This one is 7,400-plus yards. I'm going with R.W. Eaks, who ranks eighth in driving distance on the Champions Tour this season. He was also runner-up at this event in 2007.
Sleeper: Bob Tway. This will be Tway's first event on the Champions Tour, so he'd be the 13th player - and the latest after Tom Lehman won in his debut two weeks ago -- to win in his initial start. Tway played exceptionally well in the Fall Series on the PGA TOUR last season, so he's still got game. Watch for him to make a quick impact.
