SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Fresh off noteworthy performances in Augusta last week, Sandy Lyle and Larry Mize head a 14-member contingent of past Masters champions scheduled to tee it up in Savannah when the all-team event returns to the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa on April 20-26.
The 1988 Masters champion Lyle, who finished T20 in his 28th Masters appearance, will team with fellow Masters champion Ian Woosnam for the second time in Savannah. The duo played together on several European Ryder Cup and World Cup squads during their professional careers and finished third at last year's Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf. Lyle, a native of Scotland with 29 worldwide titles, is a two-time major champion. Woosnam, a native of Wales with over 40 international victories, earned his Green Jacket from Augusta National Golf Club in 1991.
Mize, the 1987 Masters champion who came in T30 in his 26th start in Augusta, will team with fellow Champions Tour rookie Blaine McCallister. A Columbus, Ga., resident, Mize has a total of four PGA TOUR victories. McCallister is a five-time winner on the PGA TOUR.
The 1998 Masters champion, Mark O'Meara, will team with World Golf Hall of Fame member Nick Price. O'Meara is a two-time major champion with 16 PGA TOUR titles. A native of South Africa, Price is a three-time major champion with 18 PGA TOUR titles.
Fuzzy Zoeller, who celebrated the 30th anniversary of his Masters victory last week, will team with John Jacobs. Zoeller is a two-time major champion with a total of 10 PGA TOUR victories and two Champions Tour titles. Jacobs is a five-time Champions Tour winner, with a major victory at the 2003 Senior PGA Championship.

While not a past champion, Greg Norman also competed in last week's Masters. The World Golf Hall of Fame member -- he also had three runner-up finishes at Augusta National Golf Club during his career -- earned a berth into the field for the first time since 2002 with his remarkable T3 finish at the 2008 British Open. As previously announced, Norman will team with Keith Fergus in his first Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf appearance next week.
The Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf's unique format features a total of three team competitions during the week, starting with the Demaret Division for ages 70 and up on Monday-Tuesday (unofficial money) followed by the Raphael Division for ages 50 and up on Friday and Saturday (unofficial money). Official competition begins with the first round of the Legends Division on Friday, April 24. The 54-hole, two-man better-ball format will once again be counted as an official money/official win for both team members. Previously held as an individual competition, North and Watson became the first team to win under the Legend Division's new team and official win format last year.
